That hayase is pure evil, I was hoping for fushi to destroy the city or something but nothing, well trailer of next chapter made me think he will turn in oniguma since it died in this chapter, so he has the chance to kill them all and eat that b*tch once and for all.

man its been a while since I hated a character that much.

It doesn't seem like he understands that's his name but I guess "Fushi" will stick. He's learned another word now. At this pace he might be able to form a full sentence by the end of the anime.

I didn't fully understand Parona's backstory. Her sister had her hide so she wouldn't get chosen as a sacrifice and she was chosen instead, but she ran away and died?

So what was the significance of the last scene with the bear? Fushi changes from "It hurts" to "Thank you", and they all stare at the bear like something changed. Was Fushi channelling the spirit of the bear?

As for Parona's sister, I'm not sure there. It is possible that the leg is what is left of the sister after the sacrifice.

That's the impression I got. I thought Fushi was about to become the bear too.

I didn't think it was going to be as easy as the start of the episode made it seem; it's a cold world.

Also I guess people like the OP, much to my confusion. I'm all about that ED.

Yea, she may have a hot body but she has a rancid heart. Since Fushi isn't doing anything about it at the moment, I was sitting there hoping the universe would channel someone like Raul or Keyaru into this show heh.

Sometimes I wish they would create openings that have less spoilers because we all know March is going to make it as we see a teenage March in the opening.

Spoiler:

I'm glad that arc is finally over because it wasn't that interesting, and the outcome was obvious from the start. Well, actually, I'm surprised Parona survived. I wonder if Fushi could see March's ghost? Because that would open tons of possibilities. It seems like she refused to move on and will remain stuck in this world.

Personally, I always enjoyed this arc, but my favorite one is the next one coming up.

Anyway... *pours one out for my girl March*

I figured it would Parona that bit the dust, so colored me surprised that she survived. RIP March though, at least she got to be a mom, a very unconventional mom though.

not that interesting an arc, but feral Fushi is an important step in the whole process.
I enjoyed imagining what was going thru the heads of everyone about what they're dealing with.

Believe so, the bear was constantly in pain from the arrows. Machi helped ease its pain, and then it died, but not before thanking Machi.

Immediately (as in next week), or the one very shortly upcoming? If the latter, me too.

The one shortly upcoming. Although part of the reason I enjoy it so much is because
Spoiler for mentioning of a characters name:

I was going to drop this when I saw march die and then hayase was alive, I'm petty like that but this serie is good and at least hayase went crazy and for the looks of it march is inside fu-chan just like the boy, the wolf and oniguma. I doubt this will be the last we see of march.

Those faces the boy did were from march lol. I thought parona was going to travel with him.

"Things die. It's just what they do.
Every minute of every day, on every world, every galaxy... something dies.
Crying about it is spitting into the wind."

Every time I watch this show, I get Sir Derek Jacobi's voice saying these lines in my head. Which is fun because hey, it's Sir Derek Jacobi, but he's saying it in the role of The Master from Doctor Who, so that's a bit weird.

You know what else is weird? Why didn't that big freakin' bear carcass start to rot? It should have been stinking to high heaven by the time our heroes made their escape.

Because it wasn't dead till right there at the end, apparently.

Also, Sir Derek as The Master was a peak both for the character and the series. Both have declined precipitously.

Fushi is more or less able to hold a conversation now. We found out the reason he was created is to get rid of some plant like creatures that threaten to destroy the planet. Stakes sure got high all of a sudden. I wonder why Fushi's creator can't act directly. He mentioned they're going to have fun, so he's probably enjoying watching Fushi struggle.

Hopefully there's going to be more personality than this ep, which I assume is transitioning to the next arc. March is missed.

Fushi takes the form of the animal or person that perish in front of it, but I'm curious if those wounds will ever heal, as now the leg wound in the boy hasn't healed and now march with the arrow wound. At least I hope that the arrow is gone, it would be sad to see it every time he turns into march.

I didn't expect to meet his maker so soon.
