Manga chapter 22 is out. As expected, no matter how awesome the giant golem looks, with Miledi behind the wheel the effect is immediately ruined. Haha, Hajime looks like such a villain with that "--Die." at the end of the chapter.

those chapters had been taken down, you need to get the official translation fom JNC(with in volume 4 btw)

Finished v06 this afternoon, despite having the extra chapter yet to read.
The Anime should be 2 cours. v06 seems like a great stopping point for an adaptation and it'd give 4 episodes per volume.
If it were to be 1 cour only, it might go up to v04, a likely good place to stop, but that'd give 3 episodes at best per volume.

I started reading this recently and love the series, but at the same time very confused on how the author portrays the power of hajime..... his stats after leaving the first dungeon are basically 11k-15k like his magic resistance is 15k(all rounded). His stats are extremely overwhelming compared to his companions like tio's stats where i believe in dragon form at level 89 she only has 4.6k magic or so. Yet........ I don't understand how he is shown so weak in some situations such as in the battle against freed in the volcano. His defense is so high yet he can't simply withstand an attack but has to shield himself. Against the beam that shouldn't even come close to his power and defense nearly burnt him to a crisp. The dragon isn't even as power as two so should only be what? Less than 5k magic at best where as his defense is nearly 15k. Honestly I don't understand how you can give someone stats that are double if not triple the power of others like tio and yet still doesn't seem to be as strong. Even with limit break tripling your power, his stats should shoot up to 30k-45k, despite injuries yet he looked like he was still unable to do anything. In that situation, most insanely broke characters should've destroyed the enemy easily, but not here. It's like he can only defeat small fries the one the heroes can't beat. Yue and tio simply seem so much stronger compared to him whether defense or ability and power despite his stats. I understand how he was badly hurt against the hydra at the last part of orcas dungeon where it was extremely strong and he only had an a good of 2k stats or less. But his stats multiplied by 5-7 or so times. Tio was suppose to only be as strong as a 90th floor monster at best, not even as strong as the hydra.

Sorry for the rant, but this is getting irritating to read because it does feel like things add up like how they should be. With how high his defense is, he should be able to block things with his own body atleast against those who don't even come close to even half of his power. Guess not.

It got delayed for quite the little while (especially because LN06 just came out and I gave it priority), but I've finally gotten started with Zero LN01.

Goddammit, that Prologue almost got me teary-eyed, I really felt for Miledy and the Liberators.
I don't know why, but the Arifureta Novels are among the scarce few that make wanna keep reading, it's a truly amazing thing.
I'm still on Chap03, but I'm quite sure I'll have it all read until the weekend.

And just now, I went to check the Manga, and it sure helped me sort a bit the image of the setting and the characters. And the art-style is quite nice.
And again, that damn Prologue... Oh, the feels... I guess I've really become a fan of Arifureta
