The very first episode that has actual combat vs Union. It's an interesting battle so far, but nothing as eye candy as the fight previously with Futayo and Kimi.

It seems to me like they use a very similar magic as the religious one used on Musashi, ie sacrifice something to gain power. It's just that instead of calling up their god and making a deal so do they power their own magic with their sacrifices.

Looks like we have the same speculah as well.

As for Okutama and Sakai, it's probably how "Tamako" negotiated on Sakai's freedom.

^Tamako is Sakai's caretaker (clean for him etc. etc.)

Musashi berates Sakai for it in the novel, they kinda hinted it in the anime when Tamako had to escort Sakai to Mikawa (I don't think anyone would remember this without reading the novel, cause she was ... just there).

They're pretty much gone after episode 4-5 (might have something to do with we getting a sub-forum and they just ignored us/dropped the show after, OR that the show has been mostly going uphill for the past few episodes). In retrospect, I wouldn't call them haters, just people who are incompatible with the character designs or just watched the wrong subs. There are some that kind of just went this shit sucks but they're among the extreme minority. AS generally has decent posters, just that things sometimes get a bit heated. Comparing to any other threads (Bento, GC etc.), I'd like to think our discussions are relatively tame even back then.

I do miss the antagonistic voices though; we have one left afaik, I like the guy for at least still posting his opinions.

At beginning this show was indifferent for me but for some reason i continued to follow it as a wednesday filler and it turn out to be interesting and very good. Maybe is the very cute and clean character design that keep me in, dunno but i liked and continue to like it.

Still damn awesome though. Being able to be at the two ends of the defense specturm, Mobility and Evasion or Defense and Vitality, is something to value.

She did complain it hurts though.

Saw episode 10. How many episodes are actually left, still? I thought someone said that this is split-cour, but do we really only have 2-3 episodes left for the near future? Kinda disappointing to think about 'cause it still feels like we've barely started.

I'm like a 200% hardcore yuri fan but those scenes this ep. didn't really do much for me. But, overall, the war/battle and such was still okay. A lot of mooks/infantry involved this time, lol. Seems like the big robot will totally trample them, but I'm interested in seeing how Neito will do.

It's rarely a good indication of a show's quality by the number of haters this deep into a series. Personally if I don't like the show I'll just drop it and won't bother with the discussion simply because I haven't actually the episodes yet. Therefore the people who will post are either the ones that like what they see or masochistics. Sadly the haters will still express that "this show sux!" instead of "ok maybe this show isn't for me"

Spoiler for Just in case...: It was entertaining though seeing Knight Adele being used as a literal meat shield. Poor gal... The fight scene with the witches and the mecha seemed kind of boring actually. I was expecting more umph and power in their attacks. The yuri scene was a bit of a surprised for me, I thought they were just good friends, but apparently it's more than that. __________________
