I really hope Yama-jii gets a good extended fight with Aizen in anime, because it seems to me their encounter ends with this one. I can't believe Captain Commander is going down in such a way. Use the Bankai Yama! Quickly lad!

Kensei has fallen? I kinda admired that guy, he seemed stronger in some way. Guess I was wrong. Or maybe WW is just super powerful.

Ah well, Hisagi is still alive, he could save the day and pull out the ''quick kill'' from behind on Aizen....

Normal PvP battles in balanced MMORGPs require some tactics.

I just realized that these guys have been hovering over Fake Karakura fighting for almost 80 chapters now, minus the small diversion in Hueco Mundo. All said and done this series of non-stop fights alone is getting close to the whole Soul Society arc in length. Kubo must have just gotten bored with actually writing a plot I guess.

Yama comes out of a fire column.

He says stuff like "When you are defeated the Gotei 13 will be finished. I wish I didn't have to come."

Yama: "You think somebody like you can cut me down?"

Aizen: "I don't think I can...I already am"

Yama: ”How dare you!"

Aizen shunpos behind yama.

When Yama turns around he's stabbed.

Yama grabs Aizen's arm.

Yama: "I've caught you, Aizen"

Aizen: "So what will you do? Assuming that really is my arm?"

Yama: "...I see with my eyes..."

"It's impossible for me to mistake the reiatsu of a blade that's pierced my belly."

"Now is our opportunity."

There's a huge pillar of fire. Aizen is surprised.

The technique is similar to Yama's fire prison.

"This is the opportunity all of your fighting has been for."

Apparently as the underlings were getting cut down he was preparing this technique.

"Stand back, Kurosaki."

Ichigo: "!"

Aizen: "And the rest are fine? They'll get entangled."

Yama says stuff like, "The others are prepared"

WW appears behind Yama.

Yama　brings the sword down behind him, but WW stops it with his bare hands.(not sure about this line)

The flames are extinguished, even though the underlings have been sacrificed.

Yama: "Why was it extinguished?"

Aizen: "Casting aside all other abilities, if I were to allow you that one specialization you could win."

"Wonderwyce is a unique, modified arrancar, his resurrection's name is Extingir.

And he was created to seal your abilities."

"Farewell, Yamamoto"

too bad Yama's plan is blocked by WW :/ the old man sacrificing himself would be an awesome and honourable death.. and it's a bit odd that Unohana didn't intervene, but oh well..

now that the flames are extinguished Yamamoto is in deep trouble, I don't see him catching Aizen a second time, that chance is definitely gone

now we have

Yama, seriously wounded, probably used up a lot of reiatsu(fire cage, fire harakiri)
Unohana, used a lot of reiatsu to recharge Ichigo
Ichigo, bloody noob, new mask needs bugfixes

vs

Aizen, only scratched
Gin, he only had a little warm up with Shinji
WW, while being extremely important for Aizen, he had no problems sending him to the real world or to let him fight with Kensei -> this guy is not just a flying fire extinguisher

imo Unohana, Ukitake or Shunsui should succeed him, the rest is still too green,.. and I don't think Kenpachi/Mayuri are even interested, there's no benefit for someone who is only interested in science/fighting

hmmm. suprisingly good chapter considering the last couple of weeks

seems a good opportunity to say hi to you folks here, usually I mostly lurk in the claymore threads, but with toshiro short of a couple limbs, yamaji not being forgotten by kubo and not having fallen asleep either and the suprise entrance of the ugliest fire-extinguisher of all times I feel it's safe to reveal myself as somebody tentatively attracted to bleach


that being said,
wonder if yamaji might be able to grab aizen again, now that he had a "feel" of his reiatsu... that might come in handy for ichigo - that is if Aizen gives the old man time enough to try again ... hope he goes out in flames and not in ashes so to speak ... he still should be able to do something useful, even without his flames and his guts being stabbed ...
