I didn't see a mention of Zegapain (http://www.zegapain.net/), a new 'robot action anime' series from Sunrise that they're currently working on. No air date as yet though. Spotted this in the Jan Newtype.

Broadcast date of HAYATE CROSS BLADE was removed since on MoonPhase the date listed is the date of the broadcast of the commercial and not the first episode of the anime.

Info will be added once its available.

====================

BALDR FORCE EXE RESOLUTION

Broadcast: March 2006

http://www.trinet-ent.com/baldrforce/

Based on a game.
4 OVA episodes.

Info from AnimeNfo:

Quote:
* Based on a game by Giga

Any network runs all over the world, and the development of the information network reaches its acme. In this age, there are two developed worlds; “the real world” and “wired”, or the virtual network world.

Soma Toru belongs to a hacking group, Steppen Wolf, which runs around the network world freely. They attack the database of the UN forces as their last work. During this attack, he loses Nonomura Yuya, his friend as well as the team leader. Toru is arrested by the army. In exchange for letting him free, he has to work for an anti-hacker organization, the first squad of the UN Security Force Information Administration Bureau.

Working for them, he is looking for the person who killed his friend, while the other members also have their own reason to fight.

The three-way fights of the terrorist group, the security enterprise, and the army, continue every day. The various events occurred during the fight seem to be independent of each other at the first glance, but they’re converging on one event as if they were attracted by something.
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Game, Mecha, Science-Fiction

パピヨンローゼ (Papillon Rose)
http://www.ayaya.co.jp/papillon_index.html

Broadcasting station:TV Hokkaido
Airing time: (Every week on Thursday)25:30~26:00
Broadcast target date:February 2nd

Based on an ONA (non-existant, it was just a hoax back in 2001, ended up getting turned into a one episode OVA in 2003, had tons of merchandise in between 2001 and 2005 though to expand it's mostly non-existant universe) that was basically a ecchi Sailor Moon parody. (Also parody of other popular anime)

Not exactly sure how ecchi it's going to stay though since a lot of things so far have been changed, I can tell that much just from the images I've seen in magazines and on the net. Still worth looking at, that's what I'd say to people. Of course I'm going to watch it cause I'm a rabid fangirl.

I think it's only going to be six episodes long though.

-------

Seems the TV Hokkaido informaiton was false. I also saw Moonphase listing this information:

「パピヨンローゼ New Season」
Broadcasting station: Ground wave (地上波) --Translation accourding to Babelfish
Airing time: not listed
Target broadcasting date: February 9th

http://www.hakusensha.co.jp/moe/book...nko/anime.html

====================

Why I said usually:

And look at what hour its going to get broadcasted: 21:45

More info about Shibawanko no Wa no Kokoro:

Info from Anidb:

Quote:
Based on a japanese children`s book by Yoshie Kawaura.

Shiba-wanko, a Shiba-inu dog, and Miike-nyanko, a calico cat, live together in a classic Japanese-style house with the traditional Japanese alcove called a tokonoma. Shiba-wanko is a very gentle and hardworking soul who does all of the cleaning, laundry and cooking in the house. Miike-nyanko is a different type all together, being rather temperamental and not very good with housework. Together, these two learn the manners and customs associated with events such as the proper Japanese way to treat one`s guests, preparing for a Japanese New Year and how to enjoy the kimono, the traditional Japanese costume. Each chapter covers a specific topic which has to do with living in "Wa" (the Japanese-style spirit of peace and harmony) throughout the changing seasons.

Oh yeah! Seinen rules! The best genre ever! Not only does it cover everything under the sun, but even typical shoujo / josei stuff such as romance and now fashion! Take that Parakiss!

Just curious, are those black people? Or just Japanese who just tanned their skin?

Hmmm...WTF^1,000,000! A dog picture book for adults? ...and MOE, of all things? No wonder Japan's economy is bigger than the rest of asia, they have more tastes and products to cater to those tastes than there are people in the world.

From Manganews:

Quote:
Minamike Anime: According to JBOOK, Minamike by Sakuraba Koharu will be adapted into a TV Anime.
Minami-ke is getting an anime.

====================

みなみけ
Minami-ke

Its based on a manga thats serialized in the seinen(young men's) manga magazine Young Magazine.
There's 2 volumes released of this manga, here are the covers:

Genre: Seinen, Comedy

I'm not sure about this, but I think the manga is 2 volumes and finished.

The first 6 chapters have been scanlated by We, the Fans group, and the manga can be found here:
http://wethefans.sukych.com/Projects.html#Minamike

From We, the Fans:

Quote:
Minami-ke is a manga following three sisters, Haruka, Kana, and Chiaki in their lives at home and school. It's a funny manga that depicts how these characters interact with each other and their classmates. It's a manga about ordinary girls and their ordinary adventures told in an extraordinary manner. This description doesn't give the manga enough credit, so check it out yourselves.
Its by the same mangaka of Kyo no Gononi which is also getting an anime. look in this post for more info.
