YES!! My beloved Valky is finally alive! i used all my skills to finish this but i am really dissapointed with the colours! Enjoy the results!

As u can see this type of drawin is based on painting with layers. What u actually do is using the previous colour as base,add more white and then paint on top of the previous layer. Wacky eh?

Have you though about tracing her in photoshop? If you don't like the colors now, you could always change them easily there.

I honestly have no idea how i can do smt like that but i'd love to see my valky in a wallpaper or a siggie O_o

It's not bad! Here are the things I think need work:

• blending the render more into the sig and creating some depth. Think of it as integrating her into her surroundings: where is she in relation to everything else? Where is the focal point, and how can you use lighting to help?
• having a less empty background - the gradient alone doesn't fill it enough
• differently stylized text. Right now the text's color jars with the background colors.

What I think you did well on:

• render choice too cute
• choice of brushes - pretty!
• font is OK
• background and brush colors complement the girl

On the fact that you did a xmas siggy - AUGHHHHHHHHHH! I've just realized that I need to start cracking on making my xmas siggies
Way to go on starting early ^_^

More tutorials for me then! I wanted to use green as the text colour because of the render's necklace. it has green on it and the background was 2 pink/purple

EDIT I dunno how this lightning effect and stuff. Still workin a lot on it but well,i'm an artist and gotta draw 2! It's pretty time consuming and i'm not workin on it a lot.I know that i can make way better things since i got the main idea ^_^

I love wintery themes, no big surprise since I see snow several months out of the year. I like your take on her outer gear - a lot of people complain about snow because of the cold and how you have to bundle up like a marshmallow, but there are actually tons of ridiculously cute winter clothes out there - it's nice to see your version of snowboarding gear
