Well, let's play positive here, problem in live adaptation the whole converse if cringey if adaptation is against original work then all hate out (Dragon Ball Evolution, Death Note)
Maybe we should give a chance how western done their own style anime. One things westerner excel than japanesse writers their creative ideas are not grounded by mainstream tropes......Of course for better or the worse.
