Just to clarify something, the Elite tanks can have XP transferred into the free pool to use with other vehicles. But does buying an Elite tank in the same tier allow bypassing the regular tank in the tier? I have a Pz35(t) now, if I bought the Pz S35, would I be able to bypass the Pz38(t)?

Nope. All it does is let you train any crew of the same type (light, medium, heavy, TD, arty), generate preferable credits and MM, and allow you to get the exp using gold or accelerate training.

Unless you're at tier 4 or below, I suggest you fully upgrade your current tank before moving on to the next tier. Not only it helps your next tier tank, it actually does make you love your current tank more. I would hate the M6 forever if I didn't touch the 90mm gun, and people would rage at me if I come to the match on the T29 with the 76mm.

It works decently against tier 6's but fails hard against tier 8s. Also my experience is from back when tier 6 tanks used to fight tier 10s in random matches ._<

Oh, that's fine, you can fit the short 88 to the Tiger, and I'll still bring the Jumbo. I'll just stand in the middle of the field and let you shoot my front plate.

If you bring the long 88 though, that's another story. The long 88 actually is a good gun.
