I haven't watched the first season (only the first episode) but I come here to watch the introduction episode of the new season because of Hiraku Kaneko. He's known for directing Qwaser of Stigmata and a couple of other shows, but his speciality was showcasing boobs, boobs and lot of boobs! I'm surprised that this new season isn't horribly censored considering the highly concentrated amount of fanservice, but the censorship worked alright with objects covering the innapropriate parts instead of boring white beams and shadows (there's one scene purposefully covered by them in this case though), which was really good. There was a lot of gravity-defying breasts and clichéd situations, but it was an otherwise dumb, yet enjoyable guilty pleasure. It was nicefully animated and the character designs, although not as faithful as the ones from season one, were somewhat round yet still healthily great even though they are not the best design choice to work for the kind of show. I probably won't continue watching though, however I had fun watching the fanservice.

I'm gonna be frank this is one of those where fanservice is pretty much the whole point of the show. The storyline is crappy and the girls only purpose is to give you boners. (which it does a decent job of) but really the storyline I don't expect much the fanservice is pretty much this things job so get used to it.

But the thing was that we didn't know that IS will be derailed so badly from the beginning whereas you KIND of predict it already for Maken Ki.

That will never happen. IS2 failed because Ichika is not a pervert and the worst part ,the most dense particle existing in the whole universe at this moment. Our MC in MK2 is a gentleman and a pervert who is in love with his osananajimi. No way it'll be a failure like IS2. If it'll fail, it's for a different reason.

I stop watching when they do that anime original with the girls competing in servicing Ichika. I don't plan to kill myself by torture. Watching IS would be torture.

What's the connection between the Mc being pervert and not?

Even if Ichika is dense as long as the story is coherent then I'm fine.

I only wish in Maken Ki 2 that the story and plot would move forward. I want to see the badass MC that I eventually like. Even his perverted friend has his time of awesomeness.

Well it still was very fun. Everything seemed wellfitted for a show about humongous tits. though I have a feeling that art of the show shifted a bit towards Kanakon styled rather the guy who drew original maybe it is my imagination.
