Mihawk and Doflamingo wear matching bracelets. They share a connection from the past and that is probably why Mihawk is here.

i would love for it to be aokiji but my money is on mihawk, he usually travels using a small raft and from the silhouette it looks like it's his sword sticking out. he tends to sleep while traveling too.

franky was super this chapter! franky was totally badass! usopp and nami showing off in the end was anti-climactic though. the chapter really belongs to franky.

Nice to see Usopp and Nami (arguably the weakest Strawhats) get the spotlight. I loved the trust Luffy and Zoro put in them. They had no doubt they'd be able to take care of Buffalo and Baby 5.

I'm curious to find out who the mystery person is, and which side he'll be on. At this point, I think it's Doflamingo who needs help. There's no way he'll be able to recover Ceasar all by himself, when he has fighters like Luffy, Law, Smoker, Zoro and Sanji to contend with.

The women's complete nonchalant indifference for Frankie's robot is superb. It's an old joke, but still a great one.

And Nami and Usopp's will to fight dervived from enemy's fleeing is also still hilarious.

Well, it does look like a giant seagull with a person sitting on its head. The point is the bill, and the back non-smooth section are the feathers. Additionally, rocks do not "sway in the waves" as the end note descibes the shadow as doing.

Personally, I do not care to speculate. The point doesn't look like Mihawk's sword (since that is should be on his back), but Mihawk arriving on a giant bird does have a certain poetry. Also, and this bears repeating, I do not care

I'm leaning towards Aokiji. The character is seen as sleepy and the raw scan looks like someone sitting legs crossed with side of face on his hand resting. This is almost identical to his introduction in long ring long arc.

Mihawks sword has symmetric ends, not just one end curved downwards.

Why does this character want to go to PH? This part I don't get.

1) There is just no reason for Kuzan to be here while there is a reason for Mihawk to be here.
2) It doesn't look like hes riding a bike.
3) If the character is indeed riding a bird, then it probably is a new character. We know Mihawk's travels by his solo boat and Aokiji rides a bike.
4) There are other characters who are lazy and sleepy, including Mihawk.
5) The silhouette bears a resemblance to Mihawk, at least to me.

If the figure in the last panel really was on a sea gull, you would expect him to be flying on it, not swimming.

I imagine it is easier to sleep on a bird floating rather than a bird flying...

Uhh...but why would just a silhouette of Mihawk? Mihawk no longer has anything to hide except his skills. We even saw him post-war style in Zoro's training.

Unless something extraordinary happened to his visual (Like burn in face or something else) Oda would definitely draw Mihawk in there without any silhouette for extra hype.

Besides, even if we consider that white area as his eye, that shape barely matches Mihawk at all. I know it doesnt prove anything so far but hell, it was fun experimenting!
