I just finished New Moon by Rebecca York and I'm starting the book A Painted House by John Grisham. Anybody seen the movie for A painted house?

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by RM Pirsig. It's my favorite book.

I like motorcycles, I like road trips, I like long, wandering trains of thought and metacognition. Most of all I like that the speakers musings on philosophy are largely written with a conversational tone. When you already have a grasp on the basics of philosophy and the key people and ideas therein, you don't want someone speaking down to you, explaining more than needs to be explained, or full of their own hot air because they think they're blazing new trails. Nope, this book avoids all that, and it really freaking delivers.

Buy it, borrow it, read it... and then buy another copy because you're going to want a friend to read it right away, and they're going to end up passing that copy on.
