Just picked up the churchill IIV and it seems to be able to take a right old kicking.
That said the last two days have been pretty disastrous with me being cheated out of pretty much all of my x5 victories because of absolutely awful teammates who would run away and abandon you at the slightest hint of danger... I don't usually lose my temper playing games but by god I raged this weekend.

Even Havok makes mistakes. Though having a BP, T29, and Panther advance the entire west to south route of Highway was a big risk. But hey, as long as the other guy makes more mistakes than you do... I'm getting closer to a real, unrounded 52%. Helps that the grinding tanks are approaching full upgrades. |

That said, I dread ever getting to a rear 51% win rate .. not just the historical losses on the Pz38tNA, StuG (never could get used to it) and others .. but also DRAWS! For a "win rate" calculation, a draw might as well be a loss..

So, we're having a sale on the UK Medium line from tiers 3 to 7, so I might as well take advantage of this to finally get that Comet. I'm kind of leery of moving up a tier for my UK tanks though, as I've FINALLY been able to break 50% with the Cromwell (at one point it was my most losing-est tank, at 25% win rate), which I've found to be a very nice tank (if a bit undergunned).
The Comet seems to be more of the same, if a bit slower. I really need to get Kimi to give me pointers on that, but you never know when he's on, as he NEVER chats in the clan chat, but he's the expert on high-end UK mediums so...

you better have some bullet proof vest or Kevlar, they might forget to bring pitch forks and torches... they'll bring dogs, flash lights, and assault rifles, and maybe a SMAW.
(*hmmm... that's a bit over the top, overkill don't you think*)

yesterday probably the best day ever for me in world of tank, winning streak after winning streak, my win rate go from 164 more wins than losses straight up to 183 more win than losses.
here is 2 game that I went unicum mode: 7 kills: this one have me brawl against a near Full HP Type T-34 and win while being 1 shot from death.

Just a heads up: It seems that the Russian server just got a patch that introduces some Wargaming programs that scan your computer for "illegal mods" or programs, etc.
Quote: "On 20th of February, the Russian server got a small patch (which is scheduled to hit the EU server around 26.2. or so). This patch contains some small engine fixes, but also several Wargaming programs. These programs scan your client - much like the World of Warcraft software does - for illegal mods, possibly even for bots. Obviously, if it finds any, you'll be banned. Of course if you don't use any, you have nothing to fear. What mods are banned: - "laser sights" (red line pointing from the barrel) - defoliants (leaf removers) - 3D hitskins (which make tanks transparent and show the modules inside) - please note regular hitskins are NOT banned - tracer changes/hacks - free camera mods Please note: some reputable mod sites (drongolab) have been offering them lately. That does NOT mean they are okay." Source: http://ftr-wot.blogspot.cz/2013/02/c...-software.html |

Its a good thing right ?
Wont make any difference to me as I play vanilla anyway. By the way does anyone know why when you highlight a tank in your garage it lists a "selling price" but when you actually click to sell the tank the price displayed is now 25-30% less than the price seen previoudly in the garage ???

When you have it in your garage it counts as if you sold all the equipment on it. When you actually go to sell it, the default option is to demount the equipment (rammer, etc.) and put it in your depot. |
