Another manga peaked my interest enough to read .. No thread yet, so lets starts one by myself.

First thing first, I was attracted to the story due to 1 name .. Sakurako Gokurakuin. Anyone familiar enough with me should know that I'm her son in law (

.. I'm married to one of her daughter; Tsukiumi .. OK, you can all shut up now)

Anyway, a synopsis

Thirteen years ago a disaster occurred. Out of nowhere, a meteorite fell from the sky, and that's when everything started. First of all, there is said to be numerous people who vanished when the meteorite fell. Afterwards, according to certain reports, this was known as "spirited away".
At the same time, strange things happened. The sky filled with clouds, and a red mist shrouded the streets. And those terrible monsters had started to appear. A monster, in other words, a slave beast, one who has sold his soul to the evil king.
However, we must not despair, they have returned from the depths of the red hell, and in order to defeat the impending disaster they carry with them a gift in their hands.

"They have returned, the ones who posses the flash have returned to tear apart the fear."

3 chapters translated by A-team..

Main characters so far seems to be a pair of returner A sword maiden by the name of Himuka and a guy named Ibuka.. a powerful but disinterested guy .. They seems to be working for an old lady.

Himuka seems to display the traits of Tsukiumi .. enough said

She also seems to like Ibuka but to ashamed to admit it.

Its a bit heavier on ecchi stuff, and so far its like monster of the week series. So probably not for the taste of everyone.. but I think BunBun and co will swooned over Ibuka .. and guys like me swooned over Himuka instead (but I already swooped her first.. so no chance guys) .. get the other girl ^^

So it's weekly? Interesting. And I definitely prefer a tsundere type lead than Musubi.

I believe it's monthly

well I had checked it out simply cause it's another series from Sakurako Gokurakuin

Himuka = win!

and our lead isn't so much spineless as more one hell of a lazy git

"I'm so scared that I think I've got an erection. Help me with it Himuka"

saying such a thing warrants a death penalty but to my surprise that isn't the case, which makes this win from the get go

I didn't like Sekirei too much but this might be pretty okay with me.

I hope Himuka follows through with that promise or I will disappoint.

Why is it always a bunch of people living in a hotel which is owned by an older woman with this mangaka? Other than that, me likey

, and the chick who turned out to be a pledger in the second prologue was teh smexyest of all

too bad she had be a pledger and die....

but I do like Musubi better than I like Himuka, though they do resemble each other quite a bit. Maybe sh'ell grow on me.

aaahhh.... who am I kidding I love em both! The story seems to be a bit better written than Sekirei at least for now. Overall good manga. Anyone read Godeath yet? I'm liking that one too.

Godeath main star is Kanu Unchou .. Like hell I would missed that

For light hard comedy with a bit of ecchi (ok, a whole lot of ecchi) go read Mangetsukan Kitan and Conveni-N.

(both are considered slice of lifey tho)

huh out of all them titles mentioned I'm still more interested in Returners the most.
Godeath is great cause of Kan-swan but yet like I said in it's own thread it somehow didn't really hold my interest other than that, even tho it's right up my street with the nakedness and violence and nakedness.

Mangetsukan Kitan is good, can't think of anything but simply good.

Well now Conveni-N....what can I say about Conveni-N....WTF?! would probably be a good place to start, then moving onto LOL.....then probably back to WTH?! then back to LOL again.
Probably one of the few series where I can say it pulls off "being utterly crazy!" well, everyone needs to read it!

but really I waiting for my Tsukiumi-chwan to show up in Returners!(yes yes I know it's wishful thinking atm but I won't let anyone destroy the dream!)

lol yea is def the best part of the series so far and no doubt for some time to come.
I actually had to reread it a few times to be sure I was reading it right

wonder what the mysterious women will be like, can't wait!

Dude, u can find Convenient (Kombini) in hentai site. Full volume Eng scanlation. Other common sites only have a chapter of it or two.
