Seeing as there is a soccer thread, I'm starting a baseball counterpart. Discuss who you believe will win the WBC or the World Series and everything else baseball related.

My prediction: David Wright and the New York Mets finally knock the Braves out in the NL East

I don't know anything about modern baseball except that the Blue Jays still suck. When does the season start?

April 2nd is opening night.

The Blue Jays are improving though. They've acquired Troy Glaus, Lyle Overbay, A.J. Burnett, and B.J. Ryan in the offseason.

All I know is some guys from Canada I worked with were giving me trouble because the US lost to Canada.

Little do they realize that we have control of a lot of their network infrastructure. Monday morning they will be surprised to find Russian flags being printed out to some of their printers...

I wish I had a live feed of these games. As the classic progresses it's only going to be more interesting.

What games are people looking forward to? I personally think that the Dominican Republic vs. Cuba game will be interesting to watch.
