^So is this novel exceptionally good?

This goddamn author updates this novel twice a day or more, it's getting harder and harder to harden my resolve to start reading this knowing most likely I'll never catch up to the latest chapter.

At the very least, I can say that I've been quite enjoying the ride so far.

One of my favorite moments right now is when Kaito is going crazy going "hya-ha~!" the whole time doing all kinds of acrobatics while riding two different elder dragons 1km in the air as they head to raid one of the neighboring nobles.

The end of the third past stories arc... What the heck was the author thinking? That completely sounded like something fitting for the ending of the entire series, so what's the author going to do now when the series actually ends for real?

So I did a little bit of looking and...it seems there's also a spin-off-like story for this WN.

It centers around Kaito's two younger siblings and the trouble happening back on Earth while the school is missing.

A good chunk of the story is apparently spent on side stories of their time in Earth (haven't got there yet myself).

Cue the start of the story after several years passed and he, along with the entire school building is summoned to the world where it turned out that 300 years have passed since.

Haven't gotten far enough to talk about what happens later in detail but for time being it seems that a good portion of the students intend to become adventurers to look for a way back. Kaito feels responsible for this incident so he wants to support them as much as possible. Kaito has already reunited with descendants of his friends as well as surviving companions.

He also met one of the two children mentioned in the op post (other one is missing and possibly responsible for this incident) and already had sex with her along with someone else at the same time.

In the latest portion I read the demon lord found time and developed VR technology in her laboratory that was apparently left alone for these 300 years. On that subject, a lot of their technology didn't develop very well because both of them were the core of the research and they went missing 300 years ago. No one could understand the theory behind their technology so they could only make inefficient intimidations of it which only arrived at practical use recently much to her dismay (including stuff like flying ships, something like powered suits(?) etc).

Apparently, the MC exercise double-standards with impunity - abolishing slavery then keeping a slave himself...

^ It's a different kind of slavery with the demon lord. In her case, it's more of a curse which also happened by accident, and she can actually break out of it any time she wants now, but she doesn't because she's already fallen for him by now, so there's no need.

Well this was unexpected... Apparently Kaito's entire family minus the mom had quite a bit of attention from one of Japan's three factions, due to Kaito and his siblings having high magic capacity with Kaito especially being taken note of as possibly being an ancestral revival. And this was before Kaito was teleported to Enefia the first time. The Tendou and Amashiro family heads even knew that Kaito was able to use magic after his return from Enefia (though they didn't know how strong he is, nor that he's the blue haired guy that they're wary of).

Yeah, the present time stories are hit or miss depending on whether or not the plot is in a lull. The past stories on the other hand seem to always be fun.

Also I think I remember Kyureki bought up something about the "future" part so:

My biggest issue with the sudden jump to the "future" was the ending lines to that entire part. Those lines were the exact kind of lines you would find at the end of an entire series, so it leaves me with the question of how the author will handle things when the series actually ends for real since now it might lack in comparison to that.

So while I haven't gotten around to reading the Gaiden yet, I went and looked at the preview information the author put up before he started uploading it. Turns out the unnamed girl appears as one of the major characters in it. Also, Kaito shows up in it too as a minor character, albeit with some restraints (not that they change the fact that he's a balance breaker either way though

).

I'm still working on catching up (there's been around 200 chapters added since the end of Senia's summaries), but first king's imouto hasn't shown up at all. Rather, I doubt she's even still alive in the first place since they seem to have the same life span as the average human.

Also, it should be noted that all the elder dragons keep an eye on the imperial family due to their special bloodline.

I had an inkling of this since the start of the arc this chapter is part of, but to think the secret behind Tina's (demon lord) birth was what I thought it to be. And each little piece of the puzzle was slowly given out ever since near the very beginning of the story too. I love it when authors do that kind of proper foreshadowing for big reveals like this.

I get the feeling that girl might actually be Lucifer. After all, Tina acknowledges her as her equal and the only person revealed so far from the Earth side that matches that would be Lucifer who has very similar circumstances to her. __________________

Also I think I remember Kyureki bought up something about the "future" part so: Spoiler: It was bothering for me as well how the story suddenly jumped to the future where everything ended already but it was tentatively pointed out in the comments below on the chapter that he deliberately avoided revealing harem circumstances for people other than Tina, though it's pretty spoilerish in its own way even then. In a sense you can be happy that Tina's future is already set in stone?

Spoiler: First off, elder dragons are actually elder gods which are beings given birth to by every single world past, present, and future combined. They're also immortal and even if they get killed or the planet they're on is destroyed, they just get reborn into another world. As for Kaito, it turns out that he actually became a Fallen once (not sure if Fallen were detailed earlier in this thread, but it's what happens when someone drowns completely into some kind of negative emotion and turns into a mindless beast that ravages the surroundings) and was brought back from that state turning him into a half-Fallen. After that, he found out about some kind of truth and chose to discard death, making him an existence similar to an elder god. __________________

And not just any otherworlder, but both he and his little sister can travel between worlds freely (his little sister was even on Earth around the time he had his first kid). Along with the fact that Kaito and the elder dragons are worrying about some kind of secret behind the imperial family, it's looking like the imperial family will be a major key in getting the school back to Earth. __________________

Kyureki Part-time Translator Join Date: Mar 2015	Spoiler: According to what one of the elders said, their lineage normally doesn't stay in one world for too long, much less found a country. It also seems they have multiple special powers. One of which that has come up several times before being that they can read what races are in a person's lineage (with varying degrees of accuracy depending on the strength of the imperial's ability). The world traveling thing is something that pretty much only Kaito and the elders know about now since it seems even the imperial family doesn't know about it (or possibly only a portion of it know). As for any other abilities they may or may not have, I don't know yet. Though I wouldn't be surprised if there's more seeing as they warrant so much attention from all 6 of the elders in Enefia, not to mention the first generation king's meeting and being rescued by one of the elders is erased from history. __________________ Last edited by Kyureki; 2016-06-11 at 01:42.
