At least they are throwing a lot of games at people. Which makes sense. Making a super powerful console means absolutely nothing without games and XBox One has been 'questionable' on that front.
Sure a lot of timed exclusives or console exclusives, but they should help. Some interesting games.

But Anthem looks pretty dank. It kind of gave me Lost Planet vibes, but y'know... not shit. Bioware makes me wary, though...

to be honest, despite such a big number of games being shown, most of them are indie-ish titles, and I lost count of which one is actually Xbox exclusive, and even such "exclusives" would probably be on PC (via Windows store) anyway.
Anthem is the biggest one there, but I highly doubt EA would make it an exclusive on any platform, of course unless Microsoft had paid them buckets load of money

That was quite the barrage of games. Of course they really were playing around with the term "exclusive." I'm not sure how many games were legitimately a XBox One exclusive. Most seemed to be either timed exclusives that will be on PS4 soon enough or console exclusives that you can get for the computer. But still, they did need to show how many games can end up on an XBox and that worked.

But, in the end we'll see how Anthem turns out. The trailer looked good. Might end up getting it on the PC if it seems worthwhile.

Spencer straight up said that the game was cross-platform in the conference. |

Like objectively speaking I know they have showed a lot of big games (Forza, Metro, AC:Origins etc.) but even putting aside me not having an XBO, not a lot of them interest me, let alone excite me. I guess it's fortunate games like Code Vein and Anthem aren't exclusives. Sea of Thieves is definitely a cool idea, but it's a game that co-op is absolutely mandatory to enjoying it. Overall, if I were to give EA a 4/10, I'll give MS a 7/10

Nintendo E3 spotlight will be about 30 or so minutes in length. Some people on GAF are kind of freaking out about that, but I read this on gaf:
"The Spotlight is going to be fast paced and have number of first looks alongside with focus on Mario Odyssey. First hour of Treehouse is also going to have some new game reveals." So it might be a decent showing from Nintendo. Not a lengthy Nintendo Direct, but content shown at a faster pace and some reveals at the Treehouse event.

I can definitely see the For Honor stuff in the combat system in AssCreed: Origins.
