Spoiler for Tsukune.. I guess it doesn't really need a spoiler tag, since its long past this in manga already.:

Tsukune is what Vampires use to be, before they became sophisticated, they mentioned that in the chapter where he mangled the entire gang in the warehouse. The Lock he has on suppresses that side of him. He still has inhuman strength and agility, not to mention durability. But, its no where near as powerful when he actually uses his vampire powers. Its like Moka, but Moka fortunately is a natural Vampire and thus has control.

If you could recall back to folklores and such, Vampires made vampiric minions the way Tsukune was turned into a vampire. They lacked sophistication and proper thought process, but has extreme power and speed.

Not quite... he eventually start to lose to his own strength and almost went completely berserk.. but Ruby and Yukari passafied him and returned him back to his normal state. I believe the holy lock is intended to slowly allow Tsukune to control his powers. I think as he continue to use his powers under the lock, he slowly begins to gain more control over it. thats just my theory though, based on what the Headmaster has been saying to himself about the lock and tsukune.

Not when he goes Vamp. but rather when he exerts too much Yoki. The more power he uses the more likely one of the links will pop. What it seems to me though, that the chain was made to do that. I honestly believe that once all the links have popped. Tsukune would be realized as a full vampire, with non of the vampire weaknesses. basically the ultimate vampire.

i could see the manga going that way. Tsukune becoming the ultimate vampire. and in turn the ultimate monster worthy of vampire Moka's love.

Yup, sounds plausible doesn't it? I mean Moka's true personality kept saying how the person has to be worthy of her to be her lover. And what better way then to become the ultimate vampire?

true tsukune isnt much of a human at this point. though it does make sense that the shapeshifter was rather weak in trying to attack ruby, he got the appearance but tsukune never did call out his blood. imo the shapeshifter took for granted that he had some strenght even in human form

Yeah, its true, he doesn't realize that when Tsukune isn't actively controlling his powers, that Tsukune is like 100x's weaker. But, man does Tsukune still has that durability.

Spoiler for Season 2 Ch.5-6:

The copycat ability allows the copying of both the subject's physical traits as well as abilities.

This is shown through the fact that he obtained Kurumu's wings even though Kurumu was still in human form. (As well as the fact that he was able to copy inner Moka)

Unfortunately, his gynophobia screwed him over in his ambush attempt, otherwise he would have had a pretty easy win. To add to his ability, Mr.copycat also knows a variety of martial arts skills, so he's pretty strong even without using the special abilities of Kurumu.


That being said, Tsukune won this time due to his quick thinking instead of his raw power. By using the rosario to dampen Mr.copycat's powers, he gave Kurumu & Mizore a chance to deal a hit. As an added bonus he also unsealed inner Moka.

The copy doesn't seem to be perfect either, as Inner Moka owned his punk ass in 2 seconds, even when he was transformed into her. It could be that its imperfect transformation or that a vampires true powers cannot be copied.

The Copycat's powers work perfectly, to the point that it becomes detrimental to himself when he copied Kurumu. (rawr) The thing that saved everyone was Tsukune using the rosary to repress the vampire powers that CopyCat stole to a level where Kurumu and Mizore could land those hits and subsequently put him in prime position to 'know his place'.

Well there goes the effort of hiding it down the drain. Though really hiding something suspicious in that school is pretty ridiculous in itself. May be a school attempting to get youkai adjusted to human society, but its way too suspicious when your inside. Good old Kurumu coming out and even having her tail come out .

Kyou is a pretty nice girl. Just looking out for Tsukune after them being close for quite some time. Not surprising she started to dig into things. Can't blame her on the entertainment industry guess. That many good looking girls hanging around Tsukune would look pretty bad from an outside point of view. Then the yakuza guess .

Well going to be a dangerous spot right now. No way they can keep this hidden. Just wonder how much information she is going to get. Since finding out his current condition would be something that loved ones would be pretty concerned about.

Was a nice chapter. Got some background on Moka's family and got to meet Tsukune's cousin.
