So Masamune-kun and Kuzu no Honkai goes hand in hand.
Both of them aired in the same season, had a story where you knew the obvious is gonna happen, but still pray for the opposite. The authors then bait the audience into thinking the opposite/the not obvious outcome really did happen, but in the end they still choose the main girl as the winner. (The Kuzu spin-off ended with 7 chapters, and they start dating in the last AFAIK.)

You know what's really, really sad? Pretty much 18 months have passed after the "Entering Climax" announcement. And what did we get? The same ending that happened in the chapter just after the announcement, Masamune and Aki hooking up after he punched Gasou. Textbook example of forced, meaningless continuation and milking that lead to the same result. -.-

Well, I did hope till the end that author will not do so much of cliche ending. But I guess it was pretty clear from that ch1 how it gonna end. I would prefer to see Yoshino won, but well, this not make me stop buy the manga
