*edit* Oh, yeah. They needed to replace Percy. Forgot about that. Kind of makes sense, but they still mortgaged too much. |

And they used it on a reciever. The highest rated one left, but there are still 4 or 5 recievers left that have great potential to be no.1s in the NFL.
Justin Hunter <---would be really happy if he fell to the Panthers tomorrow. Keenan Allen Quinton Patton Da'Rick Rogers Robert Woods Off the top of my head. |

Looks like, as long as the Ravens don't trade down, they'll be able to get either Manti Te'o or Kevin Minter. Both are high prospects for the slot, as far as I've seen.
*edit* Ooh, and they go safety with Matt Elam. Wouldn't surprise me if they trade up in the second to try to get Te'o. |

The Vikings pick Cordarrelle Patterson with the No.29 pick.
The Rams pick Alec Ogletree with the No. 30 pick. The Cowboys pick Travis Frederick with the No. 31 pick. The Ravens pick Matt Elam with the No. 32 pick. And that finishes the first round. |

Manti T'eo: Back in January, he the no.1 player on a lot of boards and was a locked in top 3 pick; one horrid championship game and a fake girlfriend scandal later. . .still available heading into day 2.
Geno Smith and Matt Barkley will have teams tomorrow, I would assume. I don't have any preferences after getting Star, though Justin Hunter would make me giddy. WR, S, CB, or OL are all options I would imagine. We have a lot of cracks. Suzy Kolber just said that Geno said that he will not be coming back tomorrow; he will be going home. |

Oh well on to the second round, I'm hoping that the Raiders draft a DT.
Speaking about Manti T'eo, I wonder if Oakland (assuming he falls all that much) will give a look.

However, due to his poor performances in various game during his senior year as well as the injury he sustained, his draft stock fell greatly.

I wanted the 49ers to get Vaccaro or Hayden, but I'll deal with Reid. He's a big bodied safety, and from what I've heard he fits the mold of a true FS. Hopefully he becomes a suitable replacement for Goldson.

Now Geno Smith is saying he'll stay in NYC for Day 2. I now upgrade my assessment from "Cannot control ego and temper" to "Ego overtakes his logic at times, but after cooling down, ultimately makes good decisions." Still wouldn't be surprised if his little tantrum hurt his stock.

And The Raiders took Menelik Watson. Finally, someone to replace Khalif Barnes. (Watson most certainly won't be a LT, because Jared Veldheer has that slot locked down)
EDIT: Fucking Cowgirls, taking another player I wanted. |
