Mai Hime/ Otome possibly shown outside Japan?

See, I come from a far-south(okay maybe not too far) country, The Phillipine Republic, and am concerned that Mai Hime series might not reach here.... Do you think there is any possibility it might be aired outside Japan ?

The whole Mai HiME has already been aired in Hong Kong - on cable at least.

There is a possibility I guess, since Hero TV is showing gundam, and naruto. Expect it to be in Filipino though.

Really?! I've been looking for that. Do you know what they called the series and whether it was dubbed in Cantonese? I really want to hear the Cantonese dub but I can't seem to find any releases of the dub on VCD or DVD. Argh! So frustrating! If only I lived there again.

Please tell me everything and anything you know about Hong Kong Mai HiME!

That I do not know. Never watched anime on local TV. However, i do recall that a network picked up Full Metal Panic and Fumoffu before. Never knew how that turned out, but maybe there's a chance for Mai Hime. I do think they'd get bleach first though, seeing everyone hooked on naruto.

On a side note, do you know where i can find original DVDs around here?

What do you mean by "where"? If you're in the Phillippines....

Manila:
1. SM MegaMall: nice place to start is at Comic Alley
2. SM North Edsa: Oldest SM Mall here in the country
3. Green Hills: A place where they drop off electronic gadgets (Warning: Some of the stuff here are rumored to be smuggled... I'm open to the topic since I'm the one who did all the research and documentaries about the place since first year college...)

*Back to the topic*

Okay... so all that's to be done is to wait for Naruto to get replayed again.... Yakitake was obtained by ABS recently (rumored to be through fansubs...)

*edited a day later*

Wah! the replayed Naruto! Now to pray for Mai Hime *prays like mad*

Considering that Beez is releasing the show in both UK and Germany I would say the chance are pretty high its going to be released in France as well.

In the Netherlands, I'm hoping Nekotachi Entertainment picks it up. Doesn't seem likely though as the Dutch anime market collapsed and either people don't know they can buy the DVDs, import or simply download anime instead.
