who are the most dysfunctional families in anime (spoilers)
do you know who the most dysfunctional families in anime are?
The most dysfunctional anime family that I know of is Sohma clan from Fruits Basket the head of the Sohma clan has been a sadistic S.O.B. who took his anger or frustration out on some of the Sohma family zodiac members. Honorable mentions: Itoshiki family from Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei Kokonoe Rin's family from Kodomo no Jikan |

Do the families of Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass), Kyousuke Kousaka (Oreimo), and Hayate Ayasaki (Hayate no Gotoku) count?
Spoiler for Just In Case::
That's pretty much I can think off the top of my head.

The Kuhouin family in Kurenai probably qualifies.
Both the Tsukamoto and Sawachika families in School Rumble deserve mention as well, since in both cases the parents appear to have abandoned their daughters. Eri at least has household staff; Tenma and Yakumo are on their own. All of the families in Ghost Hound have various dysfunctional features. Komori Tarou's family, his mother in particular, never recovered from the kidnapping and death of their daughter. The head of Ogami Makoto's family leads a religous cult, while Nakajima Masayuki's father is a philanderer. Adult relatives are scheming to kill the children in both Seirei no Moribito and Nijuu Mensou no Musume.

The entire story of Umineko seems to be based on this but I have yet to finish it so I am not sure.
Spoiler for Mirai Nikki:
