ok people if you remember in the very first episode when Miu hammers Kenichi don't we get a close up of the badge from Miu's perspective that means she sorta kind-of maybe thinks that the boy years ago was Kenichi so I was not suprised she brought it up it's a matter of when not if.

Man I don't understand what's so sad about hermit's past.

It was also really annoying watching Kenichi being TOO goody two shoes naive when fighting hermit on the bus. It was a little lame.

Do you guys think this thread needs a page of it's own? Since many disscusions are now in here the anime, manga, game and images. And imho i think Kenichi is also gaining popularity due to the fact that story wise it's great. You learn REAL martial arts and self-defense, old style training ala Jackie Chan "Drunken Master" and Miu and Shigure's FAn service! Also Valkeria the taekwando girl of the group ragnarok. Sorry Iam more in the game now than the anime

Episode 34 explains more on Hermit's past. You'll find out why exactly he wants to dominate others, due to an event when he was little.

Kenichi is a goody two shoes, but that's exactly how he reforms Takeda, Ukita,

I'll third the subforum idea, if it needs a third.

I'm interested in how the soundtrack for Kenichi is going to be organized, with all these OPs and EDs. I think I like the second OP the best so far. None of the EDs really leave an impression on me.

I'm excited for the next episode, to say the least. Kensei kicking ass? Awesome. Kensei's daughter? Hell yeah!

This show is pretty cool. I stopped watched the raws, and I am going to just watch the subs. They will catch up pretty quickly. Well, here's to the next manga release.

the problem with this series not having a separate forum in the first place is all due to the fans (which was nearly non existent before this thread started to gain some interest...) ~ and the main factor which determins whether or not a series gets its own forum is due to the popularity...and above all else post per day ratio which for this series is low! (im sad to add

Not to mention that you raw watchers filling up the thread with spoiler tags about episodes without subs isn't exactly inviting and it's not the only thread that suffers from the same disease.

The "raw" is 7episodes ahead.

I actually think some people prefer to have the oppertunity to read the spoilers. Everyone does not have access to the up to date manga or, until recently, a consistent source for fan subs. Maybe some people want to know if it is worth continuing to spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting for the sub. I think the spoilers help to keep people interested in the manga and the anime. And, people always have the option to ignore any spoiler about the anime or manga.

Spoiler: well when miu mentioned the yin yang on kenich's collar, maybe miu remembered something about kenichi from the past when they were little when she saw that? haha just a thought.

I couldn't really understand all of it, but it doesn't really justify him being an emo ass though.
