They should better done it well. The beginning, the climax and the ENDING is the most important and crucial part of the series and the very key for a series success.

If this series ends with a Bang! I am sure that after we finally get enough materials from the LN, the season 2 is a very big OK!

The finale isn't that bad, in fact it accomplishes a lot of things on what the show does best. Kon is rapidly turning from a cute and useless loli to a strong woman in only a few minutes! Harutora is also shaping up to become an anti-hero while partially reviving his lover, Natsume. It was a bittersweet ending that neither ends up in a sad or a happy conclusion, it was perfect and I wanted conclusions for shows like these in the future, they are uncommon the way I see.
Overall, it was a great show in my book, it may have mediocre animation and the pacing is off at times, however most of the plot points remain coherent without devolving into something out of nowhere. The fights are mostly based on strategy rather than powerlevels so that was a nice addition. Character archetypes aren't new in this anime though the way their personalities progress throughout the story was rad at best. Some of its tracks playing up during the epic moments were appropriate and I loved the second opening theme the best. It started strongly and ended in the same way, it was one of the best urban fantasy titles I've seen in a while so I'm looking forward to see the inevitable second season.

Not... good. About 1k-2k for a 2 cour show is pretty bad. That said this an adaptation and producers care about how it boosts the original work. This is why even low selling series still get sequels. Vol 11 of the novel will be released next month, so and depending on how that does we will have a decent idea what producers might do.

Yeah, that is other thing. Material is somewhat of a problem, but time fixes that. About 3 or 4 years enough for another 24 (or just 12) episodes.

It was a decent final episode of Tokyo Ravens.

Kon's before she completely become Hishamaru was awesome.

Damn Harutora looks cool with one-eye covering his injury accompanied with Hishamaru & Kakugyouki.

8/10 for the show. Overall fights were pretty well done. Episode composition was excellent. People who complain about the adaptation have never truly watched bad LN adaptations before. One of the challenges of adaptations is finding the right place to end an episode within the time constraint. And this show did it pretty well.

Well the last scene was really heartwarming and well I like it but I'd like more action but overall was a really nice adaptation.
Well the bad guys are out there and Harutora and Natsume aren't togehter but well it's only the first arc in the LN so I´ll have to wait for the rest of the light novels because I'm really hooked with this.

BTW the kiss was really cute.

And Harutora looked cool with one eye.

I found the part about Hishamaru and Yakou's first encounter to be very short compared to the detail in the translation of versionf from Manga & LN forum. The part where the enclave between Yasuzumi and Hishamaru took place is too. A lot of subtleties and details that make the LN great were not executed well or included at all... That's what we get from trying to adapt 9 LN into 24-episode anime.

Poor Takiko... Anything she did always ended in disaster. I wonder what she was trying to say to Harutora during their confrontation. I don't understand Japanese and I can't guess.

I really loved this series. The ending was a bit too open, but with the light novels still ongoing, it is understandable that they wanted to leave the possibility for a season two. We'll see what happens, although as I understand it, it'll be a few years before it can happen.

That the DVD/BD sales are bad is of course not a good sign, but Log Horizon also got a S2 with comparably bad sales (at least to SAO, as I understand it). Also an excellent series, btw.

Teen Kon looked pretty cool and full powered Hishamaru is very awesome. I really hope for a season 2 since there are a lot of cool stuff going on. Especially D becoming Ohtomo's shikigami.

Also when i first saw Kagami this episode i couldnt help but think "So i see you have no glasses now, huh?"

Damn. That was a pretty nice ending. Too bad they didn't show Harutora's power as a Yakou. Kon finally became useful for once for Harutora. Still hoping for a second season down the road.

Nice ending at the final scene. And 8bit put a lot of effort on this one than IS 2 but they're not able to adapt the whole plot properly.
