Nah, not Fran. I think they're talking about another beautiful lady that shows up in one of the chapters:

Thought you were talking about Fran. Well that was a Yuki Onna, a kind of demon that capture mens by their beauty and then do something awful to them; Saya herself have no relationship with snow, also she doesn't capture mens with her beauty but rather the heroine of the game was odd.

I'm pretty sure she isn't a Yuki Onna. There's really nothing to say that she is, except that her hands were cold. If she really was one of them, don't you think the mangaka would've at least made it snow or something?

Anyway, I remember in a couple panels right before the artist met up with the girl. There were tentacles in the foreground, hidden by shadows. Later on the painting that the artist made also wasn't shown, which probably means it was something disturbing.

Yeah, I do think she's a Cthulhu monster.

Yeah, Saya is the closest explanation on what creature the artist encountered. Someone who only appears beautiful to him.

I don't normally read horror stories but I decided to check this series out for the heck of it and it certainly did what it was meant to do. (my face: )

I just recently began reading this series and its incredibly good!

Fran is a wonderful character I absolutely love ^_^ And plan on cosplaying at some point =3

And theres a good amount of creepiness and gore which I love to see.

I had a funny idea: What if this was made into an anime?

I imagine that'd be hard, With all the stitches and such. I'd like to see how it'd look cosplayed.

I'd be surprised, but happy. That kind of anime doesn't pop up too often, where a single person "helps" others and sometimes the people's desires get them screwed. As I said before, this manga reminds me of Pet Shop of Horrors. I've only seen the anime, but I really liked those eps, but Fran > the Count, so I'd be more interested in seeing it animated.

I wonder how well the anime audiance can handle the horrors services Fran provides.

You've only seen the anime?
EDIT: I happen to know a site that has the manga, if you're interested.

I read the first volume of this awhile back and just got around to reading the latest chapter. Pretty good manga, though Fran is pretty messed up in a funny way....I guess.

Interesting manga indeed o_0...Reminds me a lot of Kazuo Umezu, especially the art.
