This dice gamble certainly does get better; a battle of the ages! The music was fantastic in Episode 4, and that opening theme has an odd charm to it.

This show is such a tease. 20 minutes go by, and hardly anything has happened.

That's just the way I like it, though, but watching it on a weekly basis is such an ordeal.

It's pretty funny, a mere couple of minutes before we were shown the man collapsing and being carried off to the, uhm, resting area, I was thinking to myself that working down there for extended periods had to mean death to your lungs. Just another impetus to get Kaiji moving.

I'm really excited about the upcoming episode. Can't wait to see Kaiji hopefully sticking it to the man. Knowing the show, I'm containing my glee, though.

I swear the narrator is one of the CENTRAL characters of the Kaiji anime. Without that added tension and hype, the show could feel like a major bummer to watch especially when Kaiji is hedged into a corner.

The zawas are more or less back to normal too. The mine is truly a hellhole. They literally work the debtors to death here. Kaiji's finally found out Ohtsuki cheats, and has enlisted the help of his fellow losers in order to topple him. Now, whether they manage to save up money for three months remains to be seen... Kaiji couldn't even last a day until now lol. They seem to be pretty fired up this time though. Having a clear goal in mind helps. __________________ Last edited by Kanon; 2011-05-01 at 04:33. Watches him to figure out how he does it, still don't know whether Kaiji knows or is bluffing. At least he was able to band together the loser group. Can't believe Ishida's son is down there as well. Seems like the top guys is keeping tabs on him even while he's down there, like how he said that Kaiji still had his fangs. Good job by Miyoshi to hold them back and stick to the plan. I guess Kaiji had to move up his plan when Ohtsuki told him to get lost. Finally it's payback time.
