Damn that was great.

I knew that Kujiragi had more knowledge about Saika than most expected. I think her advice to Anri this episode was interesting to remember as well. Ah, I just love the smooth action of this season as usual. Good to see it again. I'm curious to see what else Kuirjagi has to say next time. She is such an intriguing character at this point.

Shizuo's release from jail is a nice sight to see too, hopefully he'll play a prominent role soon. Saika must feel like a special snowflake at this point.

Well Kasane calls herself a villain but her heritage indicates she is not entirely human like Ruri.

A Vampire? Celty and Shira did encounter some with a Werewolf.

Anri has a point. If it weren't for her mother and Saika she would be killed by her drugged up father who was tricked by a Yakuza.

Kasane gives her number to Anri if she changes her mind. She also gives her number to Erika for cosplay.

Rokujou wants to know who run over Kadota thus he starts with Kida and Yellow Scarves. He fell down the building hardly showing pain then Aoba's crazy brother shows up with a gang.

Celty wakes up after a dream about her head. Shinra told her he and his dad had to sedate Nami and Seiji.

As for the head it went for the police station where Shizuo is at. Kasane wants to manipulate him to create a distraction but he wont bite. He gets released unexpectedly. Just as he leaves Varona steals the head. He recognizes her and believes this is Izaya's doing.

As for Haruna after being stopped from fighting Kasane she meets her father and tells him to get lost but she doesn't control him as Takahashi does who is also a child of Saika who manages to suppress her. Takahashi intends to make her his slave.

Okay that was a cool fight, but how the heck did the pimp (can't remember his name, too many characters) survive to the fall?! I expect those actions from Shizuo.

Kanase raised some good points but it was nice to see Anri ultimately decide to keep Saika to both keep her promise and to repay it for all it's help.

As usual Takahashi is a complete scumbag.

That is actually something compared to that guy from the fake Dollars member way back in first season episode 3, Shizuo's one punch make the guy went flying and stripped his clothes off leaving only his underwear.

Anri made a mistake there in telling the original Saika that monsters like her (and Kasane by extension) have no right to love others. This particular Saika is already enjoying what she loves (donning cat ears and dressing up in Gothic lolita), and there are real monsters who are now enjoying someone else's love (Celty). Fortunately, the meeting of the three broods helped out in sorting out Anri's thoughts.

By the way, I'm a bit confused about the teacher's findings of the Saika. So apparently the last person stabbed by a Saika can gain greater control over the one who attacked him/her. Is this right?

As for Chikage, no surprise there. He's the guy who finds friends after a fierce slugfest... a knucklehead in every sense of the word. The guy better head back up because Izumii is gonna steal his enemy.

Finally, why the heck is Vorona suddenly up for stealing Celty's head? The next episode will definitely cover that, but she just left Tom like that?

There are two ways of reproduction for Saika. One is slashing the other is absorbing the pieces of metal.

Haruna cut dad once. But Takashi, who is a child of Anri's Saika, cuts him. Between the two children the one who cut him last has greater control over him.

Takashi manages to control his Saika inside him like Haruna.

Oh, I forgot that Takashi is part of Anri's brood before gaining control.
So basically, in a slashing war between the broods of Anri and Haruna, Anri's brood will win due to motherhood.

Nah, more simple than that.

Takashi simply overwrote Haruka's control over her father because control of the individual simply goes to the newest master, not the strongest.
So both Takashi and Haruka can overwrite each others' pawns.

If Haruna freed herself right now and cut her father, the father will again follow Haruna's orders.

Who is Takashi at all? I get that it's some guy that the girl likes, but I don't even know who the girl is in the first place, other than she has Saika.

Season one notorious teacher that likes to fuck high school girls. Haruna was one and is Yandere for him. He wanted to fuck Anri too but she cut him.

I looked it up, and Anri didn't cut Takashi, because she hated him, at least from what was shown in the anime.
