Can anyone get the exact skills of One-Handed Sword, for reference purposes? (up to the last Aincrad Arc Novel and the ones who uses them. It would nice if you can determine what kind of attack it is.)

So episode 7 was just on the other day and it still feels like another filler.

Im finding it hard to get into this anime when time keeps on skipping so fast.
I mean they are upto floor 60 or 70 now already?

Is the whole series going to keep being little side stories like this or will it eventually get into the main story line and stay there?

Basically everything aside from ep.1 has been side stories, they try to air it chronologically, cause the main story came first, then side stories. If they animated it that way as well, it would even be more confusing/jumps than it is now (clearing Aincrad, then Silica SS, Liz SS, RNR, Yui SS, Aria etc)

The author calls it a "development and support package". It's the basic game engine + software development kit / toolset. Cardinal is part of it, too. Basically, it's like Unity or Unreal3 or one of the hundreds of other game engines out there, in that it significantly lowers the barriers to entry for the VRMMO market by making crucial tools and middleware freely and easily available - hence the proliferation of Seed-based games later on. An added advantage is the common save format which makes it possible to transfer characters between Seed-based games (but actually there is nothing complicated about that, any two MMOs/RPGs/whatevers today could be made to do the same thing automatically rather easily, just that most games normally do not support such a feature).

What kind of "weapon" is a standard dinner knife? (I was thinking it was counted as a One-Handed Short Sword -- or dagger... but Asuna used it... like a Rapier.)

My guess it can be classified as a short sword or dagger? Kind of like the weapon Silica uses, in ME2 it is listed as one-handed short weapon.

He still has it, he's just not using it because his old sword has better stats. It's sitting somewhere in his inventory.

The Laughing Coffin name was also used in the SAO arc.
Kuradeel was a "member" for example and I remember The Laughing Coffin Crusade being mentioned.

Johnny Black - wields poisoned daggers, it was the guy who suggested the killing game in Ep.6
Red-eyes XaXa - wields an Estoc, it was the silint guy in Ep.6, fought against Kirito in BoB
Cradil - joined LC in 'spirit' (got a tattoo)

It seems I didn't read your question correctly, but you are right. The names of the LC members weren't revealed in the SAO arc.

I don't know if this has been asked before, and I don't have the time to read this entire thread for an answer.

I haven't read any of the LNs at all, and from what I heard the Anime has been going in a chronological order. So far in the Anime it's been almost two years since the start of the death game, and it hasn't cover that much regarding on what has happened so far. So, do the LNs actually cover what the Anime didn't cover at all regarding side-stories or major plot stories that have occurred in the past two years? I know the Anime has left out certain details in the stories we've seen so far, I'm asking if the Anime has left out certain side stories or main plot stories.

I just feel like I need to know what happened in every month and that maybe the LN covers a couple of things every month in the past two years.
