A series titled 'Million Doll' got an anime adaptation scheduled for Summer 2015. The studio will be Asahi Production. The series is based on a web novel. It's also scheduled to debut this Summer 2015.

The broadcast will begin this July and span 12 episodes.
Million Doll is an idol manga currently serializing on Ganma!, Comic Smart’s manga distribution service . Themed around idols, the series expresses the realities of the idol world, from the unique perspective of supporting fans to the inner workings of management.
Series author Ai is said to be an otaku idol herself. It seems we will be able to enjoy a realistic depiction of idols that offers a different take than what has been shown in idol anime to date.
Shut-in idol otaku Suuko has but one ability: She can make female idols blow up in popularity through her blogging skills. Suuko has her eyes set on trying to make Itorio, a local idol of Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, into a sensation, but she is impeded by charismatic idol Ryusan and underground idol Mariko…

Spoiler for Episode 1:

Although the anime episodes' take place with dozen of minutes in, I could say this was a very fun watch. The visuals is the best thing of this series and I actually liked the blogger heroine the most, she spends a lot of effort trying to tweet something convincing enough to make every idol receive a big amount of attention among others, I wish I could do that even if my Japanese level isn't expertized enough. The only bad part about the series so far is that the opening theme had a poor, dated CGI that the show itself could make it without. Will definitively continue watching this, especially if you like anime shorts and idol fluff.

Hmm ... for me the first ep was only okay. Not a lot story wise that is really interesting for me, though I guess it WAS just the first ep of an 8 minute short series.

I guess I will try the next ep?

That's the effect of not-as-good-CGI, LOL

Unlike some other Idol series that uses the program, this one didn't smooth out everything and have a bit too much glare that makes the skin reflect too much light thus looking like plastic or metal (IE: androids).
