Makoto should end up with Ryuuko considering how cute she was with her requited love (wow at those novel pictures, unexpectedly Ryuuko belongs to the big chests category). Even so Maekawa (with her tuna suit) and Erio still come close in term of cuteness too (damn you, Makoto!!!)...

You know, I feel like that, through the use of carefully chosen shots and camera angles, Shinbo manages to make it somewhat natural instead of forced like it have been reproached to KyoAni with Mio and Azusa in K-On.

Surprisingly, it seems like the anime downsized them. Or maybe it's the uniform that makes them appear smaller than they are. They were pretty huge in the anime illustration posted a few weeks ago (the one where she was taking a bath with Maekawa and Erio).

Now there is also another thing I want to talk about. What is gonna happen if other series by the author gets animated? The thing about this author is the fact that a few of his series shares the same universe. "Tamako-san"'s two MCs first appeared in Denpa and a character by the name of Elliot that resembles this series' Elliot is in "Hanasaki Tarou". The hairdresser in episode 5 is supposedly a character in "Lying Mii-kun" which is in a completely different genre. Now the problem is that they basically all have different original character designers which raises the question of if they do get animated, would they keep their original design or get the Nishida treatment since they first appeared like that. Would Shaft automatically get all these projects too since they share the same universe?

One good example of a series having different animators is Full Metal Panic: The first series was made by Gonzo, the other two (and an OVA) by KyoAni.
