She could have done Misaki for sure x)

Too bad she was already taken... Not saying Azumi Asakura is bad, but there are some seiyuus I prefer over some others XP

Just watched the raw... wow XD It's so much better than I expected!
If this keeps up, I'll be head over heels with joy. Anyone know when the subs will be up?

Finally got a chance to see the raw version. Really good first episode. They gave all the important characters screen time, even sneaking in Touma at the end. Showed the group dynamic and their abilities. I look forward to being able to understand what they are saying.

Looking at the preview, seems pretty close to the manga, the only difference I noticed was Konori making an appearance.

I thought this first episode was going to be simple re-introduction, but J.C. staff threw me a forkball by introducing Misaki. I loved the opening. I hope the ending is just as well done.

@Shadrala Stuff that is shown in the op does not necessarily mean it will happen. The op just shows the characters that will play a big/important role in an arc or the series in general.

First remarks:

Opening is nice, but will the Sisters Arc be turned into a big friendship hug without gritty despair, or it's just OP embellishment? Cause if the former, Chaos will have to endure one of my butthurt rants.

Misaki is definitely a delicious troll, but I shan't eat of her: voice makes my gaydar say yuri at 80% chance for Mikoto's tomboy, plus, as we all know, blonde lesbians all have vagina dentata. Most doujins resulting from this season, most particularly Misaki doujins, will probably be all but delicate knowing how these things usually turn out

And Misaki's antics are giving me serious WorstxMisaki vibes. Seriously, Sumeragi, dig out those many stories ideas you must have about them, Uncle Kyon is feeling quite potent.

Making the Index movie helped improve the resolution of the show. In Fall/Winter, the series animated by JC Staff were around 720p, but since the Index movie, Railgun was animated at 900p according to Anibin. That is a blogger who measures the resolution anime is produced in. To give comparisons, the latest KyoAni productions were animated at 955p and this season's mecha show from Sunrise, Valvarave, is animated at 720p.

Though the latter is mostly because its new visuals...
