Honestly, Alto is an asshole? Who's NOT an asshole to you then? I find his character pretty friendly and caring. Maybe people were to good to you in your life :P

If here in Germany at least every 10th person would be like Alto life would be much better..

Leaving that topic aside and coming to Michael: He' dead. I'm sorry for the KlanxMichael fans (hey, I'm one myself!), but there's no way he survived that. He wasn't only stabbed but sucked out into space as well -> killed.

As for the upcoming episode, the preview made much room for speculations, in the end everything which was/will be posted here may be wrong in the end :P

Nice episode alright. I would probably have liked it more if I actually cared about Ranka, which is unfortunately not the case... Not that I really dislike her or anything, just that she leaves me indifferent.

Ranka, Ai-kun and Brera are running from Frontier. Ranka confessed her feelings to Alto.

The pacing of the episode is everywhere. The scene of Ranka leaving Frontier could had been better executed with better planning. It felt so forced and out of sync.

Bad bad bad episode.

Actually, I think it's a pretty good sign. It had to happen eventually, and I had been kind of wondering why they had let Sheryl lag in telling the truth about her disease.

If you remember the original Macross, it's always darkest before the dawn in terms of romantic couples.

(Of course, that really depends on Alto's actions next, though.)

It was said that the love triangle will get a hint of resolution on the 22nd episode, right? Then if Ranka leaves now, shouldn't that be a sign of Sheryl end?

Ok, seeing Klan going all out with what I assumed was Valkyrie weaponry and Zentradi ex gear, shouting "Michel" over and over again was pretty intense. All very reasonable and understandable given events of the last episode.

What really had me wondering was why Ranka suddenly abandoned Frontier for the Vajra seemingly out of the blue (hmmmm, maybe the new ED's title is fairly appropriate). Perhaps we, the audience, are not privy to her inner thoughts, but Ranka's farewell and decision to go the way of the Vajra was incredibly random.

Unfortunately, the pacing, and the arbitrariness of the last 10 minutes ruined what could have been a bad-ass episode that had great plot elements such as:

- the launching of Battle 25
- Klan going berserk
- the loss of Island 3
- Luca's inner conflict

well, she said she want to bring that disgusting green thing to it's home, who knows what she gonna do when she arrived at vajra's sweet little home. throw it off and then just say "good bye folks" to Ai-kun mama & papa would be her last thing to do, maybe. would be just too stupid to see that happen
