She dreamed of the adventures Akira&co have?
Did she dream of all those carnivores on the island? What kind of adventures does she think her son will have on an island full of dangerous animals? They all grew up, last time I checked there are significant physical changes between 15 and 18 year olds. Just how do their clothes and shoes still fit? The ship also looks a bit too impressive. So Kouhei is just left on the island with Hades? So many questions left.

I have to agree, this is easily one of the most rushed and terrbile ending I've ever seen, even compared to other axed series, you can almost hear the author saying "oh well, fk this shit, whatever" as you read through this chapter, a trainwreck that is worthy of Guilty Crown - actually, let me take that back, even GC made more sense than this.

Japanese school uniforms are really impressive. After being worn continuously for 3 years, not only do they still fit but half of them do not have a single rip or tear. Mariya is twice as big as when he came to the island and not only is his uniform still perfectly tailored but it has also been dry cleaned and pressed.
Also during the serialization we averaged maybe a half dozen deaths a week, but in three years not a single casualty. Also in three years on an island full of adults and college age students there has not been a single instance of coitus. this proves the clone theory. They expect to reproduce in pods. |

Ending wasn't as bad as I feared. There really wasn't much left to discover on the island anyway, and now there's really nothing left to keep them there. Plus the school's monster deterrent finally gave them a safe area to survive and plan what to do next. Definitely a lot of questions remaining though, and I hope to see a follow up one day.
This was definitely more fantasy adventure and not as dark as I thought it would be, and it's definitely not on the level of 7 Seeds, but overall it was an enjoyable read with a fun cast of characters.

What happened to Hades?
Uh and goddamn Akira's mother If you dream about Akira and the others, you should've known that there are other people who died there Maybe she does't really care as long as Akira is still alive

Well everyone became hot and sexy.
I think i admire and respect Minna's grandpa and Akira's mom for making Raika island, which took the whole project three generations (Minna's grandfather, Akira's mom and Frey, her adoptive daughter and Akira's adopted sister.). Hopefully the author's new work will be a sequel where they go to Japan, get answers and Akira possibly meeting Frey.

I feel like this ending would have been fine if the author didn't seem to make so many questions that he never answered. Well he might have done that as a point that they never could find all the answers, there are some that this explanation just won't cut it for, the main one being Hades and who he is.
Anyhow, the ending sucked liked expected but the journey here was still quite great so overall I think this was a great read nevertheless.
