I see we agree that privacy is an illusion in the internet.

I don't exactly believe in privacy because anyone with the ability and the passion to see what he/she wants will get it. Including personal information.

It isn't about the ability to seclude oneself. It is the incredible things human beings can do when they want something so much.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Whoa. That was a jerk thing to steal and harass the artist. Hopefully Spike Lee does something good.

As a Non-U.S.-American I thought the latest South Park episodes were exaggeration, but they seem to be fairly close to reality.

For 20 Years the Nuclear Launch Code at US Minuteman Silos Was 00000000:

"during the height of the Cold War, the US military put such an emphasis on a rapid
response to an attack on American soil, that to minimize any foreseeable delay in
launching a nuclear missile, for nearly two decades they intentionally set the launch
codes at every silo in the US to 8 zeroes."

Yep, I HATE leaving the house on Black Friday. However, Mrs. ES, being the crazy sort of person she is, absolutely HAS to to go shopping during this day. Fortunately, our outing today was rather peaceful. We even found parking in a decent amount of time.

Plenty. Most are American :

Monday & Tuesday: 1929 crash
Wednesday : Brits withdrew the pound from.the EU exchange rate
Thursday : The one that is one week before 1929 crash
Friday : Thanksgiving postmortem
Saturday : France at end July.
Sunday : Opening of Disneyland in 1955.

And I want a wife like this :

Not a worker but a shopper one dark Black Friday morning...
I was at an Urban Outfitters in San Diego looking at clothes at 4:30 in the morning when there is this shriek coming from the girls section. All the guys (there were only like 8 of us) all run over to watch these two 100 pound teenage blonde haired entitled girls just going at it over some dress. No one was stopping them and then this little Asian girl walked out into the middle and slowly grabbed the dress while the girls were fighting and backed out of the circle. She calmly went to buy it while the two girls were ripping out each others hair and their mom's were trying to stop them.
Little girls are the best! I want to buy and take her home marry a girl like that! I'll make all her Fridays white!
