It should also be visible from the date written on the footer of the last page in the raw scan:
9 [kanji for Moon] 30 [kanji for Sun]That's supposed to mean that the next issue of the magazine (44) is due to come out on the 30th of September. Well, ... (I got so tired of waiting for the next translation of a favorite manga of mine, that I decided to plunge into the world of Japanese language and learn it a little myself. After all, it can't be as hard as Kenichi's training... ) |

I got the same reaction as -Sho- when I first saw Chou, he seems to be devoted to the cause, but I get the feeling he's Tanimoto's fodder, going by the last line...could stretch it out an extra chapter though.

I think Takeda is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay weaker than Kenichi right now so i don't see the point of him fighing Tanimoto or other yomi member.
he is in a whole different level to Tirawit and Shou http://www.onemanga.com/Historys_Str...enichi/268/07/ |

I think you're are forgetting the first lesson of this title, "Through hard work even a person with no talent can succeed". How many times Kenichi faced opponents that were superior to him in talent and technique, and won? Only with sheer stamina, determination and basics branded with a hot iron he defeated his opponents. And we know Takeda has the same single minded determination that Kenichi. What I think Takeda lacks is a Master like Akisame who teach him thoroughly, that is the shortcoming of Shiba sensei.
For me it would be an pity if Mr. Matsuena doesn't use characters like Takeda, Kisara, Thor, Freya, Etc. to fight YOMI, I like Kenichi as a character, but not every fight has to be won by him. |

Takeda can be strong, and so can the rest of the Shinpaku alliance. All it takes is a good setting for it...I really enjoyed the manga because it's not just one guy and his masters fighting and winning all the time (well, Kenichi has officially lost at least once:P)
