I tried using that MikuMiku dance program thingy kinda fun a bit time consuming for me.

But yeah sorry I had to ask why every one seams to love her to much but she is not my taste.
Are you still badmouthing my wife?!?

Her music is great, it depends who produces it, but some songs really does sound like a real person singing <3

I concur. A scale figure of Yukikaze would be glorious. I hope the upcoming second season would increase the chances of it being made. T-T

That's cheap indeed for a Nanoha figure. It's great that you finally got your hands on it. =D

Well, as I have said on my blog, I am a pretty bad photographer. To have a better view of her face, you can see it here. Her face may appear to be off to you because the sculptor have not followed Takeuchi's style and instead have given her a more "mature" look. Closer to the 1990s I would dare to say.

Yeah, I think so too.

Anyway, here's my contribution for the thread.

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

I was lucky to find the GSC Sakura figure for only $35. It's small, but the details are pretty good.

So got some new shelves today, I had all my figures out of my room while I put them up. Took a few days for me to actually get it done, so my room was like this for a day or so, felt so empty.

Back to this: (an hour ago)

Nice collection there. Wow, three dakimakura all at once? I think you'll need a bigger bed. j/k

It'd be nice if you could actually give some closeup shots.

It would seem I forgot to post the actual photo of my shelves, just the one of my room I took to post somewhere else.

That's my shelves, the framed picture of Miya is the puzzle that came with the Amagami PSP Limited Edition, came with the frame too.

I am so jealous of your K-ON figures :P I only have a Mugi, Suwako, Ui and Yui (At least I got my fave character ^^) from the Prop Plus Petite series (the anime store I got them from discontinued before I could get Azunyan :< ) and it is so damn hard for me to find anime figurines in my area

I picked up the petit nendoroids, the five instrumental versions and the secret MoeMioKyun. More than enough for me when it comes to K-ON

Spoiler for Large image:

Maybe off topic, and I apologize before hand, but, where do you recommend getting these figures from?
I had/have good experience with HLJ, Scott and his team are always attentive.
How about other reseller?
(I am in the US)
Thank you.

Honestly I think Ami Ami is the best in terms of prices, but they do tend to sell out the quickest when it comes to popular figures.

Also for figures that have already sold out everywhere (or Prize figures) I have recently become a fan of Mandarake. Of course it's all luck whether you get it, but prices are way better than EBAY.

Thank you Kirarakim!

I am giving both a try, lets see how the two compare.
Figma Sengoku Nadeko and Hatsune Miku from AmiAmi.
Figma Senjougahara Hitagi and Asuka Langley from Mandarake.

Most of the time the drawback for ordering from Japan is shipping.
For comparison; I bought my Soul of Chogokin GX-46 and GX-60, they are heavy, and shipping on GX-60 was already at $35 USPS first class (Texas-East Coast ). >_<
Thank God the heavier GX-46 shipping was free courtesy of Amazon.

Cheers!

I do all my ordering from HLJ and never have a problem, I would pick SAL to save money on shipping at the very most it took 1 extra week vs EMS and was half the cost in fact some orders arrived with in the same time frame.

Only downside to HLJ and other sites based in Japan their prices are based on the daily changing exchange rates which are adding up to 20-30 percent more on the cost since the USD is not as strong their as it use to be.

For shipping I tend to go for SAL registered. In terms of cost it's inbetween EMS & regular SAL but you still get some tracking & insurance.

Although I hate the whole signing aspect of registered mail, I tend to be too nervous to ship by regular SAL with no tracking info.

As for cost well the exchange rate sucks right now but from what I've seen American retailers charge more money anyways because well they are also ordering the item from Japan. So if you order from the US your shipping might be less but the item cost is usually more (especially since an item can be heavily discounted on Japanese sites)

I use Hobby Search Japan. I've used the cheapest SAL they have (unregistered) for the last 20 or so figures and everything has come in with good padding at around 2-3 weeks.
