Raki isn't completely normal. Remember Priscilla got a hand stuck in him and he didn't die? The organization also had a short time with him in the lab.

I'd definitely for Noodles of the West to come back, but at the same time, hate the idea that she'll only be killed off again.

Curious about how this Riful situation will turn out. Just what exactly is she or better yet what kind of personality is she coming with. Two pretty good theories between being her child or the pre-awakening personality. Will have to just wait and see how she turns out.

But really was kind of hoping we hadn't seen the last of Riful, so on that note I'm pretty satisfied with how this chapter ended .

I don't think this is too far-fetched. Claire does need a power up against Priscilla.

Something related to Teresa imo will happen too.

Good chapter indeed . I hope they would continue the anime. Claymore is one of my favorite manga .

I wouldn't mind if the new Riful is her child ( though i also really like Riful comming back).

What imo is the most important thing is her personality and how it will effect the whole story. Adding her to the whole plot just made things/story much better .

Before this chapter i was also thinking that Raki might be very strong. But after this chapter though i still believe there is a chance that he actually is very strong, i think his true strength might not lie within his physical strength but rather his relationship/connection with Priscilla.

That said, Raki is like the only human we know that can defeat a Yoma. So dealing with him ( the exception), anything is possible ( even him being super strong).

And yes he is definitly not normal but how strong he is imo is very hard to say at this point. But i mostly agree with you .


My prediction is by the end of the Manga, probably most of the awakened beings ( if not all) are going to die. Out of the Claymore side, i think there is a chance Clare, Raki and Priscilla dying. As for Riful i think there is a chance she survives. Though i agree with you that it is kinda sad that there is a high chance that she might die again after just being brought back .

As for Raki, the safe bet is the male awakened's comments to him were metaphorical. Raki has the strongest "sword" in this fight, because he's likely going to bring Prisc's humanity back due to his connection with her.

I know, I know, there's a large subsection of the fanbase that wants nothing more than a dragonball Z fight to the death between Prisc and Claire, but I've held from day one that the story of Prisc and Claire (and to a lesser extent, all warriors), would be one of redemption. I still think Claymore will get there, eventually.

^ Regarding that, I don't like how that guy looks so conceited and thinks he knows it all or something. I was kind of like "Bring it on" when he tried to threaten the group saying he would wipe the floor with them if they couldn't come up with an interesting plan. Please, you 5th rate awakened.

Indeed. Condescending tones from Awakened worked like two years ago. These days, power creep has...err...creeped so much that Yagi had to come up with crazy things like the Destroyer to still bring some sense of tension to fights with our lovely ladies. Against that backdrop, condescending tones from Awakened don't jive very well.

Anyways, I'm fully expecting the Awakened to join late, thus setting up a later event where Miria and crew feel morally justified in wiping his smug grin off his face.

Like Chronos said, it was similar to Rifu but not Rifu. I'm guessing it might be Rifu's child. That AB came out of Rifu's lower body part which could be the womb.

my feeling is that this new Riful is simply being awakened by Prissy's powers and going to head toward the fight to be absorbed just like Cassandra. Prissy's drawing on all she has atm

I was thinking something like Raki will run in to stop Priscella's death spear attack on Clare, Prissy will hesitate, at which point either Miria or Clare herself will stab through Raki to kill Priscilla. then Clare will spend the rest of her life in emo mode

Started catching up on Claymore today.

It seems that Kronos's message to Raki about the swordsplay Isley taught him - I am guessing it to be the ultimate anti-awakened swordsplay created by the No. 1 of No.1s.

If he had been using that to slay Yoma and Awakened Beings so far with ease, it is probably the art surrounding the swordsplay that makes it the catalyst the entire series.

Well, Claymore is not a power-level based manga, fighting ability is instead rated by a combination of speed, technique, endurance, and special abilities. with speed being the most important attribute. The idea is more or less similar to physical fighting in real life, where you don't have to be the strongest, just fast enough to dodge/block all of your opponent's swings, and hit hard enough to eventually wear him/her out.

Kronos did mention that it felt Isley awakened out of his own will rather than necessity. this, combined with the fact that male warriors are almost "compelled" to push toward awakening as soon as they start releasing their yoma energy, suggests that Isley has never had to release his yoma energy in his fights. this makes him similar to Teresa's fighting level. whether or not he had Teresa's yoma energy perception, we don't know, but he would've definitely developed a sword style that's both fluid, and efficient in cutting down any regular yoma, and any other warrior trained by the organization. Thus, we can say that Raki's sword style is such that the forms are designed to block common warrior (or awakened being) attack patterns, and attacks or counters are designed to inflict max-damage.

It's quite wrong to imagine the process in human form... I guess it's more wrong to imagine that in monster form, although it does pique my curiosity. Remember Riful once said she's the only one who can break Dauf...

I don't think either of the two beasts is in full strength anyway, that's why she wants Cassandra to come.
