It also says they're taking orders for the first DVD:

Regarding the first image, the lyrics shown there appear quite different from the ones that were quoted here a couple of posts back. Given that this one assigns different kanji (rather than katakana) spellings to each "fuu", and "Darlin' Darlin' FREEZE!" instead of "please" or "furii", I assume that the image is of the correct official lyrics while the posted transcribed one is a "gisting"?

It would be nice to finally get the real lyrics from the CD liner notes rather than go by the 2ch consensus transcription...

Another link featuring the full lyrics. I've listened to the full OP, and I'm not too impressed with it. Then again, only half or even less of all the OP's are even worth repeating in full.

Well, what you're seeing there is not two different kanji, but the repetition of a single one. a.f.k. understood that part as "I say (uuh!) I say (uuh!)", when it's actually saying "汗(Fuu)汗(Fuu)” ("ase [fuu!] ase [fuu!]"), which roughly means "sweat (fuh!) sweat (fuh!)". The little 々 symbol you see there actually indicates a repetition of the immediate previous kanji.

The image is the official lyrics. The one that was pasted above was the 2ch guess.

I'm quite happy to have the OP single, with a 4:18 full version, and most importantly, an off-vocal version. Yay! Excellent stuff.

Off-vocal is actually quite nice. I've put it in rotation.

I'm glad they're doing the karaoke skits instead of an ED theme, since Kaeshite Knee Socks would probably have been the ED and I don't like it at all.

I wonder if all the songs on the OST will be about clothing?

Doh! (slaps forehead) You're absolutely right, I should have known that, too. I totally misread that line.

I'm actually looking forward to getting some of BGM from the series. I find them really catchy...particularly this one simple piano piece (it plays every episode, but it's around 4:17 in episode 5 when Konata and the gang run into Yui).

I always find myself humming that piece when I'm reading or studying. It increases my powers of cognition by a factor of 40%.

I'm working on them. They're hard (mostly creative words) enough that I'm planning to pull aside a native speaker into translating the lyrics with me.
