I think I'll have to dissapoint you ;_;. The clouds is actully a cut-out from an IRL pic since I haven't learned how to do clouds yet. I will train on i though.

Atleast the sun is mine and so is the shadows.

These sigs are for this month SOTM with the theme non-human and it's now your time to decide. These are still work in progress but I need to know which I should continue with since I can't enter with two.


Short note about this one: I made the whole background myself, the clouds turned out pretty well.

Mm, I might go with that one if that's the case. It's also the one which I can improve the most, most notably the shadows.

Indeed, don't know why, but I have a nice feeling too when I looked at it I think it is because the background blends quite nicely with the character.

The other sig


conveys a more metallic feeling, it fits well with the robot and along with the flame, it shows more destructive power(ish)

I think both are quite nicely done, only the the left hand side of the second sig seems a bit bland (I think it might intentional but I'm just saying).

So in conclusion, I prefer the first one

That settles it. I will continue with the Angel and just do a free sig out of Appleseed.

Don't know, but I think to me it seems to be lacking something. I can't really place my finger on it (sorry for that) but if it seems alright to others, maybe it is just me

Maybe you are reacting to some sort of colorblending..or that the render looks strange..

Briarios FTW! I'm a big fan of Apple Seed and thought it has been a long time since someone made a sig using either Briarios and Dunen. Nice job on the flames for the right side. Blends really nice and Briarios pwns with his rifle. I'm not a big fan of scan lines but you sure pulled it off on this presentation. The lighting and scan lines on the left are nicely balanced. Colors are spot on and you chose a nice quality render. Don't forget to sign it too.

Glad you like it, even though I won't use it for SOTM.
I will get it done though and maybe release it as a free sig since it's unsure if I will use it myself.

It's now done. Upped the colors a little and "Ilya" in the lower right corner as a kind of watermark, it can't be seen easily.

Releasing this as a free sig.

Whew haven't updated in a while...been busy writing fan-fiction among other things. But here comes a big update, containing MGLN sigs (well some atleast) and one other sig.

(The Vita and Hayate one is bad)

Hmm... for Vita one I kinda agree but for Hayate one not so much. I mean it's a good render and I think if you could try again you would make a great sig out of it. Also I think the problem might be that bg is blurred(?). I think other sigs are great though, especially Rein and the last one fore me.

@ Daniel E : Well sure you can use it, hopefully "Ilya" won't create misunderstandings. (I can change it though but i don't deem that unecessary)

@ Cats : I'm sorry but that ava is currently being used by Kha. I don't think it would be a good idea if both of you used them. You'll have to take that with Kha if you want it.
