Bleach 169 Discussion Thread
Good morning fellow Bleach fans! Today's episode promises to feature a dangerous transfer student. Why is he marked as dangerous is anyone's guess. My theory is he is dangerous because he doesn't believe in deodorant.

hmmm hmm hm, it felt more like a movie than the beginning of an filler arc
 - many characters appear, but just to be there/around, not to do anything significant - ichigo going bankai unnecessarily - lots of stupid jokes ... looks like the anime crew loves getting rid of the dark tone and doing something funny/stupid/light hearted/trivial and banal instead  I really like where this is going, they made a good choice with the "it's another continuity"-move in order to avoid a bounto-like setting where everything is deadly serious etc. At first I thought it was a bad idea to take such a drastic step, but I have to admit that it's actually working quite well.

Well I like the new character of the little girl princess.She's cute
  And why do I get the feeling that her relationship with Ichigo will be very similar to that of Nel's.  And btw BleachOD I don't like that sig pic of Hime sacrificing herself.You really want poor Orihime to die, don't you?

This Ep Was Not Bad...I Liked The Last one Better Than This
 Well The Girl Was Kinda ...Gonna Be Hated be me..*I Didn't Like Her Yet* And I thought There Was Gonna Be Awesome Evil Character in The Ep

I liked slang that Hime-sama is using. First thing she asks if Ichigo has some food
This spin-off story feels quite refreshing, if they just get it feel like new. Sure this ep had some recycling with jokes, but seeing real world and those school friends was highlight. Good job with introduction with new characters that they didn't felt bland, VA-work, animation and music helped. If they have enough time so that characters and story feel meaningful enough. |

The episode was good, I despise the little girl though. But then I always have hated little girls in most anime because they demean all the mature characters by bringing them to their level. I just wanna shout 'Dude kick the little girl away she's ruining you!' I see a similar fate with Ichigo.
OD's sig makes her look like an IchiHime shipper. How misleading.. |
