Actually, I think this manga will have exceptionally smooth sailing for a little while. I actually think they're going to start jumping around between the mangakas again after Ashirogi gets their rep established and the first couple of rankings come out. Like people have been saying, there are a lot of other storylines that need to be touched upon.

Well, I do hope it will happen the way you guys said.

To be honest I was getting rather tired of our protagonists being in a slump since Trap ended -- which was quite some time ago with a lot of twists along the way which is why I was predicting things so pessimistically.

Plus PCP sounds like a manga I'd actually want to read.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting Mashiro to show the graph to 'that' person. It was an important plot point in the very beginning, but after following this manga for 90+ chapters you tend to forget those details.

Great chapter!!!! Ashirogi really went far with their new series, even better than Crow had done when it first started AND against tougher odds. And it looks like they're only gonna get better with time. My only regret is that I can't read PCP myself

Awesome chapter! I didn't think PCP would make such a strong start, especially since they were up against Fukuda's one shot (which sounded damn good too). Nice to see them at the top.

The last scene of the chapter was touching.

Yes. Most of the rest of the chapter was fairly transitional (read: a little boring), but seeing Mashiro present his first # 1 to his idol's/uncle's grave was a very nice touch (I thought, much the same as Takagi, that Mashiro wanted to show Azuki, so I was pleasantly surprised by the heartfelt gesture).

Overall, decent chapter. Loved PCP's Annojo design (stripped blouse, with mini-skirt and leggings

)...even if she is just Azuki's younger sister

. Fukuda's Racer manga looks far more interesting than his original delinquent manga (or whatever Kiyoshi Knight was).

sure there are some bad sports manags but SlamDunk, E21 and POT aren't the only ones. Giant Killing, Hajime no Ippo, Kuroko no Basket, Diamond no Ace, Fantasista, Initial D, One Outs, Ookiku Furikabutte, Rookies, Whistle and Real to name a few.

i wonder if Ohba got the idea from watching Durarara.

Okay, I'm getting tired of Iwase going "evil princess" in the cafe. I think the authors have no clue what to do with her right now. However, in the long run, this is basically setting up for Miura to sprout three spines in the most epic way possible. I'll give that 10 chapters to show up.

By the way, I don't read sports manga, but don't diss them. This series spawned an anime that generated 30+% viewership almost every episode.

Tough that Fukuda did not get first, but at least he is releasing a new series one that is about sport motorcycles which is a pretty interesting concept for a shounen manga. There was so much awesome, what with PCP coming first, Fukuda starting a new racing manga (i'd read that), followed by Eiji's determined look that gave me goosebumps. Looks more and more like Iwase and Eiji were made for each other. Their first date is going to be literally insane Mashiro visiting the grave was a nice scene, though I bet the uncle was screaming, "yeah yeah, now get the girl idiot" __________________

XD (I am starting to secretly hope that she gets with him and finally gets a happy, if somewhat strange, love life.) And WOW, Masahiro...that moment in the graveyard sure was powerful. ;_; Until next chapter! XD __________________
