Even if Sakura isn't her real mother genetically, the whole point of this manga then from this chapter would be that it is just the genetics that determine a human, but rather the environment that they come from. So Kishi's ultimate message would probably be something like: Sakura is the one who still wants to take care of her anyway. If she were raising an orphanage of children in her special light novel, then it wouldn't be a stretch for her to take in Sarada in the first place.

I don't see how her having a kid isn't hers makes her pathetic?

In my opinion it doesn't, it's the part where she still married the guy that tried to kill her that seems dumb.

Kishi is just feeding the fires of the nerd wars. Other than the cheap "whose child you are" subplot though, the chapter was actually good, talking about clones being used as parts and them being like evolved kage bunshins...Orochimaru always goes deep. Suigetsu looks bored out of his mind though.

Orochimaru is still Orochimaru as well.
Instead of getting older or stay at his appearance, he's getting younger.

I'm pretty certain that Suigetsu's test result will prove to be wrong somehow. If Orochimaru did it, then we'd know that it was legit, but Kishi purposely had a joke character do it. And not just any joke character, but Karin's jokester rival no less. I'm sure it will lead to funny antics between the two and ultimately Sakura still being the legitimate mother.

As I stated before. It is unlikely the dna sample used was Karin's. Suigetsu only suspected that it was Karin's. I find it more likely that something like that, locked away in Karin's desk, was actually Sasuke's DNA that she was planning to use to make a clone of him that she could have her way with. lol

I have to ask, Are we sure Kaguya has been defeated? Because I'm actually thinking this whole thing is Naruto and whoever else under the IT. Things seems a little fishy here.

Kaguya can only be sealed since she's the progenitor of all chakra.

She can summoned again if someone managed to do Mugen Tsukuyomi again, just like what Madara did (and Black Zetsu aim for).
