Meh..... Genshiken was entertaining.....Kujibiki Unbalance was mildly amusing......but I don't get why they would make it a full series....it was just a novelty and nothing more...

Yhe story lines been done millions of times before (its yet another harem anime), but instead of making up entirely new characters no one has heard of, why not use characters that a lot of people can already identify?

And let's not discount the fact that the President has a large following, including yours truly. ^^;

Kujian is being directed by Mizushima Tsutomu? Interesting. Though his newer stuff fails to compare to the brilliant Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu, learning that he is the director has upped my interest of Kujian TV TENFOLD. We may be in for the funniest anime of the season, and with him directing it won't be a straightforward high school romance. Yahoo!

The changes are rather... drastic. For better or for worse.

For example, that mushroom girl. Why am I not surprised, that she's looking like the typical loli-childhood-friend-type all of a sudden? Oh, wait! Maybe that's just me!

And if I'm not mistaken, a few of the original characters have been replaced by new ones as well. I don't know. This could prove to be at least entertaining enough or watcheable, but personally the main appeal of Kujian is the thought that I'm watching the same thing Madarame and co. were watching. Take that away and what happens? I suppose we'll soon find out.

I would have definitely preferred a second season of Genshiken over this any day of the week, but there's no use whining about it now. Hopefully, there's still a possibility of it happening sometime in the future.

You're not the only one thats, um, turned off by the new designs. Part of the Prez's charm for me was her combination of her untied, knee long hair with a helmet. Her in braids? Not the prez I know of. :/

Oh well, maybe the story can make up for it.

The Kujibiki Unbalance home site hosts both a trailer and a screenshot gallery for what looks to be the thirteenth episode for Genshinken, which is a DVD-only exclusive OVA to be released and included within the first DVD release of Kujibiki Unbalance.

Woohoo! The Manga girl!

Btw Guido, it's a 3 episode OVA but I don't know what disc numbers it will be released on the Kujibiki discs.
So we will eventually get 14 and 15.

And the animation looks right too.

Edit : Err I don't know the animation of the preview I saw wasn't that great. And Ohno has a new look....I don't know.
