^ Probably he's right. IMO Jin is nearly confirmed, considering he has a new design already. DVJ and the red giant, I don't really know. The new female character's design looks like a mashup of customization items so it seems she's largely unconsidered too.

Harada also said in Famitsu interview that Kazumi might be playable too depending on the fans demand.

Ok Jin's back good sign, but I'd rather have the oldman Heihachi and Kazuya get the spotlight instead of him and Lars.

Also WTF?! BANE and a Xiaohuwa or whatever her name is from Soul Calibur? Come on Namco is being lazy here....Now we got two designs that look like SC characters. I'll stick with Shaheen and Lucky Chloe for now.

Because it's really like what you said, the pic of the girls consist of 2 parts: the upper and lower body (and in different resolutions too), someone just stitched them together.

Josie is really from Philliphines. Looks like her combat style is a mix of a native martial arts (I heard Harada said "Eskrima" in the stream but AFAIK it's a martial arts using sticks) and kickboxing.

^I definately agree on that one. but like I said if the moveset will be good I'll use that character. Seems Josie Rizal has good mix ups.

Eksrima has an unarmed way of fighting. That's probably what they did. Additionally, I remember Harada mentioning her fighting style is a mixture of Eksrima and Kickboxing(3rd in the game).

Cringing on their naming sense though. Her name was based on our country's national hero, lmao

Y'know I wholeheartedly appreciate a Filipino character in Tekken, finally. Although, I must admit that, with the exception of her speaking English and not Tagalog, I think they tried a little too hard making Josie seem Filipino. She's got colors and a sun motif based on the flag, she's a little too obviously named after Jose Rizal (they just genderbended the name for crying out loud), and while I'm aware that Eskrima does have unarmed styles, I feel like they might've tacked it in there just to hammer in, "Hey, did we mention she's Filipino?"

...Regardless, she is pretty cute, I'll admit. I'm not a patriotic half-Filipino, but I'm still pleased she's here anyway.

The headband is for cuteness, you know Japan...

If you watched the Eskrima video the elbows and counters of Josie are pretty accurate. Though she's more of kickboxer as seen in the trailer.

Moving to Jin Devil Jin still as demonic as ever not really liking the super looks common. Jin got his hoodie get up back and seems his super here is the finisher he did to Heihachi in the Tekken movie which looks cool.

Anyways we are waitng for Bane or Jack7.

There are tons of better-looking ways of making a Filipino-inspired character in Tekken.
It's not about nationalism, really. The issue is more about making it seem like Josie is cheaply made.

The best part of the costume is the footwear. That's it.
