Cecilia was losing due to negligence. She assumed Ichika couldn't get close. When he did, she basically blew a hole into his armoring with the missiles. His shield was restored due to first shift occurring. Truth be told, he was only in winning form due to the first shift occurring. Too bad he didn't properly control Yukihira so after taking the up close missile attack, Yukihira bled out the last remains of energy.

That could work. As a brief cameo appearance then/or maybe give her a proper dedicated story which ties in with the Athena-verse.

And yeah, in the IS/Athena-verse, the [Pearl Admiralty] will be piloted by a female pilot instead.

It's just an introduction, it could be turn out good like Rain's story for all we knew.

The actual cover will include more character, but for now, this is what it should like.

Again, negligence. She never took her melee lessons seriously ever since no one could come close to her due to the bits.

Cecilia is by all means a very competent pilot. But that's purely in regards to ranged combat. When it comes to CQC, the only ones she can beat up are civs and thugs.

I'll give Ichika credit when Yumizuru starts making Ichika's victories seem like real victories instead of fortunate coincidences. Basically, the fact he's forcing anti-stu vibes into Ichika's character for every fight is what makes me discredit him.

The best good fight from Ichika I've encountered is from golem. And that was the easy mode golem fight. I have yet to see version 2 :|

Nah, Mangatron is 100 times better, hell, Koomi is 100 times better. It's just that I work fast, never pay attention to detail and prone to mistake.

Well I don't see any reason not to, sooner or later Karon will show up in your story

I chalk it up more to BITs complex control scheme, someone with decent leet skill will probably help with alternate program.

And yes, Ichika win or lose when the plot calls for it, the fight with Cecilia just a glaring example. I'll have it fixed in fanon, assuming I didn't add another mistake instead.

Side note - She's one of Kanzashi's two closest friends solely based on the fact that she doesn't like Ichika.

Nah, I'll try to make alternate prologue first. This one is finished, but I feel it's too dark and WILL be a great mood whiplash when we get itno first chapter.

OTOH, I can just jump to Rito vs Cecilia with Ichika watching instead.
