things you find funny
what are things you find weird or funny on this site. i love it when one torrent is requested for reseed. then it gets seed, but another torrent from the same series goes dry, because all the seeders went to that one. a mean cycle

That's not the way I see it, acefighter. This is how I see it:
As soon as an anime is subbed download it, b/c if you wait anymore than a week or or 2 then there will be very few people seeding or gone altogther. Like me for example, i'm trying to get the first episodes of Naruto and it's download at a very low speed, and it probably won't finish till next week. |

Waho~i, I've been complimented by Gravy-chan!
By the way, I found it funny that the main AnimeSuki server was outdated, and the mirrors were up to date. How does the primary server know if it's outdated?

Actually, the last step in the script that syncs the database to the mirrors is to mark the current time, then the script that displays the data to you checks that time, and if it's too old, it displays the out of date message. So even if there are no updates, the script still knows that it's up to date.
And BTW: there's nothing special about www.animesuki.com any more. It's just mirror #1 of the underlying site, which is at a secret location, behind barbedwire, and firewalls, and you can't get there anyway, cause there's no display script running and we won't tell you where it is . -- -billy- |
