The rabidly anti-moe president of my anime club hates Macross F for polluting a legendary mecha franchise with moe.
The rest of us, of course, will simply enjoy this cute cosplay of Micronized Klan Klan by YUSA, the cosplayer who brought us that epic Strike Witches cosplay a couple weeks back: http://mpzerocos.exblog.jp/11485162/ |

The legendary ace pilots, Milia and Max Jenius, the first Zentrendi and Micron engagement, had 7 daughters. The main female protagonist for Macross 7, Mylene F Jenius, their youngest daughter, is a pink haired moe bass guitar player and vocalist. She also has an awesome psychic furball called Guvava, which Ranka's Ai-chan probably homages. So, Macross always had moe characters which are important to the story. Anyway one of my favourite Ranka cosplay to go along:

Amazing stuff, they captured Franky and Brook's appearance really well lol
Great One Piece cosplays are always outstanding because it stands out from any other anime cosplay. You have to have really weird attachments and masks to make the face look like someone from the show.

Maybe it's because I've seen too much, um... I won't say "bad" cosplay, more like "in-accurate" cosplay... but cosplaying is something that's left me with a 'bah humbug' reaction of sorts, so yeah, it's a pleasant surprise to see it done so well for once. :/ |
