But this is probably the type of series that is better animated than as still images - at least to me. Still sad that there's no news of another possible season.

Agreed, 100%. I tried getting into the manga, but it just doesn't have the same charm and hilarity as the anime.

I was absolutely ecstatic to realize that it has an English dub. I'm watching episode 1 right now, and Juliet Simmons as Chiyo is a goddamn 10/10. I freakin love her.

Could this finally be the long-awaited 2nd season? Would be one of the most inexplicably overdue sequels in anime if so. Manga a big seller, anime did great on disc - but 5 years of crickets.

I just re-watched this again for the first time since it was released a few weeks back. What a droll little show. I'd be pleased if they made a second season.

Probably the same old format. There are male manga artists who draw shoujo manga, but they probably do not think like Nozaki.
