But why is it in genderbending then?
The Tsuji project is a VN where the seitenkan characters meet the normal characters. Hence the name (Tsuji translates to Crossroads).

On topic, what's up with the Courier New, Kaisos? It's so... Courier New. Ugh.

EDIT: Why would you people link me to FF.net? Whyyyyyy?

Spoiler for Thine is the Kingdom:

An optional scene on Day 5 will kind of address this, actually.

Spoiler for September the Fifth, Day 4: Hallway: A Familiar Laugh:

I would remind everyone, or inform those who don't know, to keep in mind that this scene normally only triggers after you've beaten six routes, though this restriction will be removed for the demo.

I'm not actually that pleased with how this turned out, but what can you do, it's too early and I'm sleep-deprived and exhibiting the physical symptoms of stress.

Enjoy. And yes, I am a proponent of the Kansai dialect = Southern drawl translation convention.

(Those who have been paying attention up till now should draw a fair few conclusions from this scene, heh.)
Tsuruya is awesome. Therefore, any scene with her is awesome by default. Good job with that one.

So, that was a Southern accent? I had no idea.

By the way, what about that new font? Something important?

That "somewhere" can be found in the very first page of this thread. Just below the index archive of the fanfics.

Actually, the official name is "Croassroads Project". Anyway, I guess Tsuji can be used as well. (I use it in my personal files)

I've mentioned it before, but that fanfic was probably my major inspiration for the VN to begin with.
That fanfic is chilling. And not in the good way. Very well-written, but chilling.

Ahh... I think I get it, now. The Courier New represents narration from a "present" Kyon looking back on the scene, a la Tidus in FFX? (best example I can think of, sorry...)

Hmm... are other scenes on the Hijack route going to have this?

Maybe. If you're correct, I honestly hadn't thought of Tidus, but that's actually a really good example.

Yes. Both Hijack and FINAL have this effect throughout, though the former more than the latter.

Any analysis/theories springing from the actual scene and not my text games?

It was more that people seem to really hate FFX. The only reason I thought of it is I'm using my free time to play through it again so I can actually beat the damn game.

Anyways... hmm. Well, this pretty much confirms that the Tsuruyas are the ones from the first two interludes. It implies that there's something sinister going on with her, which could mean she's Greentext; alternatively, the last few lines could imply that Haruhi is greentext. Also, given the name of the Hijack route, I suspect the Tsuruyas are functioning as a separate entity.

I'm one of the three people in the world who likes FFX. Sure the characters other than Auron (and sometimes Tidus) suck, but the game is really fun.

Kyon's a piece of man-bait that all girls secretly want?
Actually, that sounds good. I'll go with that.

Isn't it canon? I mean, at last half of the named famales falls for him. This isn't really about that particular scene, I think.

Well, Haruhi most definitely wants to (to use a scientific term) "get all up in there and hit that ass like a punching bag".
I'm pretty sure Yuki would too if she had the choice.
Mikuru I'm unsure about.
Tsuruya yeah.
And Itsuki is straight.

So did I, actually... I had always just assumed that it was common knowledge and didn't need discussing. Then Kaisos went and started fishing for analysis...

There's always progress when I'm not here.

As for Tsuruya, her actions feel rather forced.

As for the way the greentext is written (as discussed on the previous page), I for one did not skip a single line since I was drawn in.

It's a nice one alright. I thought you didn't read fanfiction Kaisos.

Lol. Kaisos think the greentext identity was obvious and is surprised no one figured out. Now he thinks the identity of the shadows in the dark room was a secret... but evry one had already figured out since the begining.

I see I picked a bad time for my week off.

Hm... the Greentext/"Midori" picture has been discussed to death already... what else...

... Shakespeare? In this thread? Did not see that one coming. For the record, the only thing that was required reading here was apparently Romeo and Juliet... in grades 3, 6, some time in junior high and during either Freshmen or Sophomore English... yeah, you can probably tell how much I hate that play by now.

More writeups... can't really comment on 'em...

It's the end of the world... and I feel fine. Always wanted to know how everything would end. Apparently, we go gray-scale.

For the record, I was kinda spoiled on both the greentext and the shadows. Still, it's funny. "Midori" should have been obvious. Though I suppose my insanity plays a part in that... I've really gotta work on that problem.

Yaaay you guys aren't morons.

I guess the Shadows are pretty obvious, yeah, but no one really pointed it out, so...

I used to, back when I was starved for new Haruhi content back in '07.

There are some really good ones out there, but I got bored of trying to sift through crap, so I gave up.

And now here I am writing a script for a VN that is effectively fanfiction.

I know how you feel... I find most of my fandoms either have no fanfiction in English or have an overwhelming number of crap stories to sift through to find good stuff. Every now and then, though, you find a gem...

If you ever wanted to see the largest crap ton of fan fiction, I'd suggest "Lord of the Rings".
