That's perfectly normal - Maximum7 picked World Embryo from the very beginning, before even volume 1 was put for sale. Before they got torpedoed by the cease & desist call, they were using the monthly chapters released in the Young King Ours magazines instead of volume tank raws, which is what the new team is doing right now.
The translator remains the same for both groups, though.

In any case, a publisher in Singapore is doing it in English as well, and I found a local store that would be willing to special order it. I'd like to know how well done it is (can any Singaporeans give me a heads up?) . |

EDIT: Though I can't help but be a little suspicious... Can anyone dig up the announcement/press release? EDIT: Good news: It looks like another group has picked up WE, but this time from where M7 left off. Last edited by fict_ticious; 2008-03-13 at 13:34. |

You know, just maybe it's stupid nonsence like this "LOL TOKYOPOP SAYS NO + BLUEBALLS" stuff that kinda, you know, gives certain people who don't buy the manga when it does get licenced some creadance.
Don't licence what you do not intend to and/or can't release |

It's been a while since the last time I was at this thread.
The news I want to announce is that yesterday Dark Horse Comics made public their official acquisition of the license of the World Embryo manga at Comic Con. Source. Anime News Network |
