I hope we get some good action scenes. I've no doubt they can handle the plot just fine, but I found myself thinking the Civil War fights looked far too scripted, for lack of a better word.

You can definitely tell it’s a two-parter. Him being in that slimmer, less impressive getup just reeks of movie one being him establishing his threat level, then suiting up in his true garb for the big showdown in movie 2.
And at no point in the trailer do we see the gauntlet with more than 2 stones attached. He’ll get the last stones by the end, or in/near the beginning of the 2nd movie.

EDIT: Wiki says the sequel is still scheduled for May 2019 (specifically the 3rd) just as announced way back.

This is it. Thanos is coming to fuck up everyone's shit.

I seriously want him to prove why he's the Mad Titan and already overpowered without the Gauntlet by knocking out Hulk with one punch and ripping Hulkbuster apart.

I also agree that he probably already took the Power Stone from the Nova Corps. The trailer has him holding the Space and Power Stones already.

I also agree that he probably already took the Power Stone from the Nova Corps. The trailer has him holding the Space and Power Stones already.

I'm looking forward to them showing how darn powerful this guy is just on his own. Should be able to witness that when he goes to get the power stone. My condolences to the Nova Corps, but we need them to take the hit for that purpose .

This guy shouldn't be lacking moments of displaying what he can do. At least already got little bits such as knocking down Iron Man and Spider-Man in the trailer.

Should be incredibly progression on the threat levels though. Started out with Loki in the first Avengers movie and now we're here with Thanos.

In the trailer from that convention a while back that got up on YouTube from camera captures, it looked like he summoned a meteor strike.
Though that was probably with the power of the Infinity Stones.

Btw, what is your opinion about this Fighting Mode getup of Thanos? I would have think that him fight in his normal getup showed in the last movies, is this the outcome of the transicion of comic to movie where everyone should see more modern?

Based in Banner's state in the trailer and apparently meeting Stark it would look like Thor/Heimdall sent him back before I assume they get waylaid by Thanos and Thor gets spaced and eventually meets the Guardians.

Banner is probably the one bringing first news to earth of the Mad Titan's arrival.

Yeah, that was a fun trailer. And they 'balanced' it nicely. Enough to get hyped, but not too much to ruin the movie. That was really good, can't wait to see this movie.

By the looks of it; Thanos first goes to the Collector´s place for the Aether; then to the ship with Asgardians refugees for the Tesseract and sending Hulk´s ass to Earth, then goes to NY where he takes on Iron Man, Spidy, Strange and Guardians sans Groot & Rocket; before heading to Wakanda where Black Panther, Cap & co take on the faceless army to guard Vision in the meantime. Thanos lacking the Time Stone taking on Cap must be editor´s work, like with Thor´s eye in Ragnarok

Meanwhile Thor, Groot and Rocket are helping the former build a new weapon/prepare counter meassures.

I’m slightly concerned with the lack of Hawkeye and Ant-man in the trailers though. They’re supposed to be in the movie too.

And looks like Thor won’t keep the eyepatch for long. I saw in my local Kohl’s today their new Infinity Wars displays, and he gets his eye back with just a scar remaining. And yes it was official art, the display had Cap’s and Widow’s new looks too.
